I think the pre-inspection process needs improvement. Depending on technology for that can be frustrating for customers. I couldn't get the pictures of pre-existing damage to download, and didn't have a lot of time to keep attempting multiple times.OMAR C.

The sun visor kept coming down and hit me in the face when you're driving and when you got on the highway the downstem pull to the right and I only had it for 2 hours and took it back and they wouldn't even give me a a discount at Chick-fil-A for both the equipment shouldn't been on the road anyway and he's all over the damn place sun visor hit you in the face as you're driving down the highway and then get a then get a discount into the league day I'm being able to open quipment I won't lend themgillie T.

We walked into the location and secured a truck for 2 weeks later. Two days before pick up we received an email stating pick up was 30 minutes away at a different location which we should have been told when we walked in to reserve it. It was a hassle, in a area that we feel isn't the safest, and we felt misled. We reserved a 2nd truck that day for another move, this time to different state & now are looking elsewhere and will cancel since pick up location is unknown. No one wants to drive an additional hour during a move to get a rental truck way outside of their community especially when they go to the physical store to reserve it. Also we then went over the miles we indicated and were charged more due to location being so far away. I'll be calling customer service to attempt a credit. Completely unfair. If we had been told I'd feel differently. As it was done is misleading and takes advantage of customers. The staff was nice at this location & seemed to be working very hard. It was busy.TODD H.

From the beginning, Uhaul changed our pick up and drop off location adding 20+ miles to our trip (for which we had to pay for). we showed up to get our rental and there was no one at the location. The store opened at 7, and at 7:45 there was still not an employee in sight. We waited for over 45 minutes until I contacted uhaul customer service, (i contacted them using live chat because there was a â€œ40-50 minute wait,â€ when calling customer service) and they gave me a phone number to contact the indy location. After calling the phone number, the person who answered informed us they would contact the general manager and call us back. I did not receive a call back. After 15 minutes of not knowing what to do, two people arrived. The lady who had the â€œownerâ€ name tag was not the friendliest, she never once apologized to us for the delay (making us miss our pickup time) nor was she in a hurry to help the customers. Instead as soon as she got there, she turned on all the lights, unlocked the doors and then left immediately to tend the storage area. On her way back she yelled at us (there were three other customers who waited with us, in the pouring rain, sitting on the sidewalk of the uhaul store, waiting to be helped) â€œthe doors are open.â€ I immediately apologized and told her i was unsure if we were welcome to go inside. Once inside, we finally got checked in (still without any apology for delay) and were given the keys without any instructions on where to find the truck that had been assigned to us. The truck was dirty, it had crumbs all in it, and the trailer had random trash throughout it. While using it to move personal property from one location to the other, it was raining and the uhaul truck collected water, to the point of having standing water. The standing water managed to soak my mattress, and bed frame. it is now terrible discolored. Further the water soaked several moving boxes with sensitive personal materials. I even took precautions putting down tarps so my belongings wouldn't get wet or dirty, but this did not help. This is the first Uhaul i have ever rented, and after my experience i do not plan on using them again.KIMBERLEE M.

Customer was sleep and not very Personable! I actually returned my 1 hr before expected time. It's was due 5/18/21@ appr 4:30.-30 P.m. It was back, clean and gassed by 3:30! I was rushed asking if a paper repot would be? Well it it has now been hours with still no receipt paper or otherwise! I'd like to know what Ive spent. The location was very helpful when we were canceled out by another Uhaul location when we can to pick up our confirmed reservation. We were able to get a rental from the Pendleton Pike within an hour and were able to complete the in-town move on the original timetable due to the help of the people at the location. It wasnt the location but the online process that slowed me down. I had an issue where it wouldn't let me return the trailer to the same location and I think I was overcharged for the time I had it.
