I had to return to the location and pick up another trailer because the first one given to me was padlocked. No one at U-haul had bothered to inspect the trailer prior to renting it to me. This wasted an hour+ of my time.

Problem: We reserved a 26' truck, as we have done for the past 10yrs, for our summer HS program. We check back FREQUENTLY before we pick this truck up. It is critical for moving 100+ students for one whole week. In fact, we check weekly to ensure we GET THE TRUCK WE NEED. On the day I pick it up, we find a 20' truck. NOT the 26'. Then you charge me the SAME cost as the 26'. What's with that? Why do we even RESERVE a truck anyway? We cannot afford this happening in the future. We're moving to Penske. We had to drive an extra 23 miles due to 15 foot truck not being available at our reservation site. Gas tank was on 1/4 tank. No info provided on size of gas tank nor miles per gallon. Check engine light was on. Wipers were old. Tried to call to get help with check engine light but no one picked up the phone.

Very bad experience. They told me they had my truck on michigan road but didn't. They rented it out to someone else. But they did find me a other truck at the Lafayette location and was given me 50 dollars towards my renter today but they didn't. They charge my card anyway. Not very happy withwhat happened today and will be calling someone higher.

You should have a late fee when someone is returning the equipment rented instead of doubling the price.

I did the VIP service online but wen I went in to grab keys I still had to wait in line behind people! Nobody asked if I was picking up keys! The guys at counter carried on conversations with people making my wait longer! When I got to counter he still was talking before he gave my keys!

I wanted 2 utality dollies that have the straps on them but they did not have any so he gave me 2 smaller dollies that worked ok too. The people took care of me and were very polite and helpful the store was clean and had many display boxes an helpful moving items things have sure changed since I had to move last 22 years ago. For the better I might add.

The queen mattress cover I purchased was not long enough to fit my mattress. It could have been about 4 inches longer.

I was quoted 24$ plus mileage of 69 cents. I only went 13 miles to pick up one thing and got charged 47$. Im highly upset over the extra 23$ dollars. They never had any available at the location I chose which was basically a half of a mile away from my house. I would have only used 6 miles instead of 13 miles if they would have given me the location I needed. Im just so over Uhaul prices and I wont be using Uhaul again. There too many other companies that are willing to treat customers correctly to take your business.

The location staff, truck and equipment was great. I tried to use the padlock and the key would not turn. I dropped the truck off after hours and tried tried several times to no avail. I called customer service but was placed on hold forever and ended up just leaving the truck without the padlock locked.

We did mobile pick up because we wanted to get in and out and be on our way and we weren't totally sure what time we would get there. We got there and uploaded the info needed and then when we got in the truck, there were no keys in the truck, so we had to go inside to ask for key. This defeats the purpose of mobile pick up. We had ordered a furniture dolly and when we got to the apartment and opened the door, there was NO dolly to be found. This was at about 6pm. I tried to call 3 different numbers for uhaul to let them know, so we wouldn't be charged and I could not get anyone to take my call. I was on hold for so long at each number that I just had to hang up. I had to go back into the store upon return to apparently pick up a receipt so I was able to tell him about it and he took the fee off our bill. I have done mobile pick up in the past and it was super easy, this experience was not.

Steering very loose, van all over the road, interior smelled like a dirty ashtray. That being said, employees were very kind, courteous, and professional. I truly enjoyed the interaction with your employees
