Not happy I was charged for two days when I only had it for one day! It might have been a few minutes over 24 hrs but give me a break! I didn't keep it over night again and was obviously trying to return it within the 24 hrs...



Make sure that the internet don't go down again. The system was down for the entire corp.

We picked up the U-Haul Saturday morning and there was clearly damage to the front end and we pointed it out to the U-Haul workers who said they were already aware of it and that it was fine. The headlight fell out later that day while we were driving. We had to pull over and grab it and put it back in. We finished moving and when it was time to return it we told the worker about the headlight falling out and that we were upset about it because it was a hazard for us to even be driving with that headlight so loose. The worker then proceeded to tell us that they had no record of that truck being wrecked and that we must have wrecked it ourselves, so we found the employee who we had spoken with on Saturday and had shown them that there was damage before we ever even left the lot. He said he had no idea what we were talking about and that he had never seen that damage to the truck before and said that we were lying. We had purchased insurance so we were not being charged for the damages but we were very irate at the fact that they tried to say that we wrecked the U-Haul when we made sure we took good care of it and cleaned it and had it swept out and brought it back with more gas than what we were given with it. We are good customers and take good care of things when we are in possession of them and the fact that they tried to say that we wrecked it was unbelievable and and we will never use U-Haul again because of this incident at their Noland road branch in independence, mo.

Clarify the rental term. Rented a 6x12 trailer, was told to have it back by 1 pm. What happened to when you rent something, it was for the day ? When I could see I wouldn't be done by 1pm, I called to inquire about extending. Was told there would be another $29.95 charge on my card. I said if that happened, you would not get it back until tomorro. Clerk at call center was very argumentative. Crew at Noland road location was very nice.

Improve the after hours return setup- couldn't get my account setup on my phone to complete the after hours return and a bit frustrated with the website. I looked up my trailer rental info on the website and didn't see any way to do the return online from that page. Otherwise it was fine.-

Your $19.95 truck rental is completely misleading. I used it for 5 hours and my cost was $57.00. I put 31 miles on it. No insurance or any add-ons. I don't mind the price tag, But don't call it a $19 truck rental.

. I needed to move a king size bed from Blue Springs to Independence. between the truck rental, over $1.00 per Mile drove, replacement of gas used, I spent well over $100.00.

Keep the gas tanks on full so they are easier to fill with gas upon returning. It's hard to gauge when the tank has to be filled to a level other than "full".

We reserved our uhaul online and went to a blue springs location of where our uhaul “was supposed to be”, and then ended up having to drive all the way to independence, but we still had to pay for all the miles we put on it. In a time of stressful moving, uhaul just made it worse!! Would not recommend

I wish I would've known that a daily truck rental was 79.00 vs. The 4 hour rental, with that said overall experience was great, from the folks working at the facility to the operation of the vehicle and let's not forget the online ordering, great all the way around. Thanks.



After an extremely awful experience with Uhaul, I will no longer use uhaul a ever again. The Noland road location had very nice people and they tried to be as helpful as possible, however I have absolutely no use for a company who has multiple rules that contradict each other. Renting one truck to pick up a item I purchased took me almost 2 hours to complete because I had a paper copy of my drivers license due to losing my current copy. I provided several other forms of documentation and the customer service staff at the uhaul call center informed me that my temp drivers license, my social security card, birth certificate, and photo/name identification card for my last two jobs were not good enough verifications to prove who I was. They also informed me that having an police officer verify that the information was correct was again still not a proper form of identification. Since uhaul has so many contradictory rules about general identification I will never rent from uhaul again. It is not worth the hassle to deal with this ridiculous process ever again.
