On drop off they found that on pickup somehow they didn’t give me the correct paperwork for thr trailer they hooked on mt uhaul truck, but they stepped up and called and fixed the inventory between the two dealers, check in was very easy.

My reservation was at KS Foreman 2230 N Dayton-Lakeview Rd, New Carlisle, OH. When I got there there were no U Hauls there. The person there looked up my reservation and said my 6X12 trailer was at Pro Window Tint 8011 OH-235, Dayton, OH 45424. When I got there, the 6X12 trailer was there but Pro Window Tint personnel were not. I called there number and they said they were not doing Uhaul anymore and told me to go the Brant Pike location. They were able to get me a trailer, but when I got home there was dirt, leaves and grass in the trailer and I had to clean it out. The people there didn't seem to care that I was inconvenienced. If UHaul didn't have a monopoly on this kind of rental, I think your customer service would improve.

Coordination with customers and other locations, overall communicate more effectively throughout. I called and reserved a truck and trailer, when I arrived, the trailer had not been brought to the location I was picking up. I had to drive to the location to pick up trailer (which added miles to the truck I rented). I should NOT have had to do that. Additionally, I was uninformed that the trailer I rented could be dropped off at pick-up location at no charge (which would have been out of town) until AFTER I DROPPED IT OFF causing me to add more miles to the rental. The equipment was great, however the customer service was not.

My experience was excellent up until the point when I reviewed my bill. They charged me for gas and I put a notch more of gas in the truck than I had when I took it off the lot. Thank goodness I took a picture of the gas gauge and mileage before dropping the truck off. The only think the manager said was that her eyes were a little puffy when she drove into work that morning. I simply could not believe that she had the audacity to say that. If you rent from this particular location, make sure you take a picture of the gas and mileage gauge because they will definitely try to pull one over on you. I’ve already told everyone I know to watch their bill if they rent out of this location.

The first time I called to get a flatbed trailer. They said they had a 5x9 trailer for $24.95 a day, but I could not rent this trailer because of the vehicle I was going to tow with (I have a 2004 ford explorer). So, I called in again, and spoke to a different person and they basically told me the same thing 5x9 trailer for $24.95 a day, but again I could not rent this trailer with the vehicle (2004 ford explorer) I was going to use to tow the trailer. So my son in law said I could use his 2014 ford truck. So I called back they said this vehicle would be fine. But when my Son in law and my daughter went to pick up the trailer, they gave them a 6 x 12 trailer and charged $34.95 per day. By the time I got there to the uhaul site in huber heights ohio, they were closing, but they already had put the trailer on the vehicle. I told my daughter that they told me the trailer wold be a 5x9 and it would be $24.95 per day. The trailer they put on was way over kill for just transporting a riding mower. So I think you all should be on the same page when renting your equiptment. It is not just the ten dollars, it is the principle of what we actually agreed to for my initial needs. Besides I only used the trailer for less than 2 hours, then returned it back. Larry Hall.

The turning in of a truck went smoothly but I tried not once, not twice, but three times to get a hitch installed as well as renting a truck and the first time I show up for my appointment and the person who installs them was not there because she didn’t know she had an appointment. The parts were there to directly hard wire the wiring harnesses, which had I not asked questions would have voided the warranty on my brand new 2018 vehicle. Then I call back to order the part and get stuff set up. I was told someone would get back with me. No one did. So I went into the store and the person at the desk was the only one there and was unable to find the part I needed. I then left. I was not trying again and risking these people putting a hitch on my car. But the owner did a nice job checking in my uhaul when I returned it.

Electronic drop off after hours was nice, but if I didn't have a data plan I'm not sure what I would have done. Maybe list needing online access as a requirement for after hours drop off someplace online? Either way, the drop off procedure was easy to follow.

Customer service was TERRIBLE. The girl was carrying on personal conversation with two guy customers and was in no hurry whatsoever with 5 people standing in line. Literally took 40 minutes to return a trailer. Location is just fine, just hopefully Uhaul will retain a new and better employee.

1). My paperwork said my gauge was at 5/16 of a tank. It was actually just above the 1/4 line. I drove 11.5 miles. It was at a 1/4 tank when I was at the gas station across the street. I put 2.5 gal like the paperwork recommended. This moved the needle back to where it was when I received it, just above the 1/4 tank line. Either the gage is not functioning properly or the staff isn’t checking to see that the actual reading is lining up with the generic paperwork. 2). though the staff has been nice and friendly, they are slow. This could be a coincidence as today was Friday evening before a holiday, but the few times I’ve done business, they are s l o w. I will continue to use this location however, as it’s location is convenient and the after hours drop using app is very convenient. And they are nice. 3). The cab had the previous renters paperwork in the cab and the was some food debris in the back of the uHaul. The windshield has grease or something on the outside which the washer fluid couldn’t remove. It made it difficult to see especially when the sun hit it just right.

Huge line of people who reserved equipment with only 2 people working it took over 30 minutes before i got the truck. Truck was dirty and the a/c didn't work most the trip. No cruise control on the truck makes for a very long one way trip.
