The clerk was very helpful and friendly. the store was just odd. the trash bin where the truck drop off is located was overflowing and gross. It looked like a window had been broken at the store as there was a slab of wood instead of glass.

Once you start with a customer, pay attention to them and don't push them aside to take customer coming in the store to purchase other items. When a customer ask you to walk outside to check the truck before they take possession of it, do it. Don't act like it is not a big deal. Be more professional and don't be lazy.

Maybe training ALL employees how to do the computer. The lady there was VERY helpful so I'm not saying in a bad way, but with it being a gas station it took a long time and there were some very impatient customers that walked out. She was amazing though learning it over the phone!

Parking at this location is terrible. The U-haul rep shares a counter with a convienence store which creates extra wait time. No assistance available for hook-up so DIY. Trailer tires were bad out of balance. Parking was blocked on return and I could go on.

Staff was not knowledgeable about uhaul rentals. The trailer had to be returned at 4:45 on for a day rental which is ridiculously early. Most locations let you drop off at any time during the day. We were charged a crazy amount for a late fee. Will not be using uhaul again-especially not this location. Terrible experience

They never went out to inspect the truck with me, or verify the fuel. They didn't know how to handle problems with the computer. Very poor service.

The attendant had no idea how to manage an online order. It took almost a half hour to check out a truck that had been reserved and pre-checked in.

We show up and even after calling day before and being told yes, they did not have all the equipment we reserved. Then when returning truck, they said they could not accept it. Huh? They could not accept trucks at current time even though this was pickup and drop off location listed. So wasted time and mileage and the place was very unkept with workers who could care less.

I brought the truck and car dolly there on Saturday10/22/2016 at 11:00 am. The clerk took my paperwork and said she could not go out and inspect the truck at that time and that she would e-mail me a receipt. Never got an e-mail. I came in the next day and another clerk told me I was going to have to come back on a different date and speak with the manager. I asked when was the manager coming in and she could not give me a date. I finally called U-Haul costumer service and they got it worked out.

i rented this truck to move and this is my problem i rented it at 3651 lorna rd and went to 4864 riverwood pl 6.9 miles (loaded there and went to 2800 47th Ave N 21. miles unloaded and went back to 4864 riverwood pl 21. miles and then to 3651 lorna rd 6.9 miles but i got charged for 107 miles can you explain and considering i only put 19.99 worth of fuel in it. (there pumps do not do even numbers) can someone please explain this???? very unhappy.

Never saw anyone when dropping off equipment as I left it early Saturday morning. The pone number listed is forwarded to another phone which does not have the message option set up. Seems a bit shady.

Stop leasing trucks at gas stations. Such terrible and unreliable service. My location was changed without my knowledge and very inconvenient and would not use location ever again or recommend to friend .

The lady who helped me was very unpleasant. She ignored me for several minutes while she played on her cell phone and listened to music. She then proceeded to help people other than me even though I had been standing there right in front of her for quite a while. After 40 minutes of waiting, she gave me what I needed and pretty much shoved me out of the store. She miscounted the number of furniture pads, which costed me extra money. She was very disrespectful and unhappy with her job. I will not be a returning customer.

This experience was terrible. The truck was slow and when I called customer service the day before the truck was supposed to be back I requested returning the truck a little bit later in the day and the representative said that that was okay. So I returned the truck at around 12:30 and I was charged for an extra day. I did not request an extra day I simply requested a later time to drop off the truck and I called customer service and they approved it and said I would not be charged. However I was. The young lady that inspected the truck when I returned it me that if I didn't fold the blankets that I would be charged $50 the blankets were folded I went back in and she charged me for an extra day and that is not what the representative approved. I asked the representative if I could return the truck no later than 2 in the afternoon and he spoke with the supervisor and it was approved. I return the truck at 12:30. I should not have been charged for an extra day when it was approved that I could return the truck just a few hours later than the time stated on the receipt and what the representative told me. I would like my money back. I have used U-Haul every move for almost 20 years I will not use you home now U-Haul has lost a customer. The truck was horrible the return was horrible I was charged when I wasn't supposed to be I will not recommend U-Haul to anybody ever again and I will not use U-Haul ever again I would like a full refund due to the fact that the truck was in bad condition the lights did not work and the return process was simply ridiculous. I am about to move into my apartment and I will be calling somebody else to get a truck. Even if it is more than U-Haul because of my experience this last rental time. I was even told after I returned the truck that I would get my money returned to me based on my experience this with this trip. This representative called me three or four hours after I had already returned the truck. She said that she was very sorry that shi could not understand why the young woman insisted that I fold the blankets or I was going to be charged $50 and she couldn't understand why I was charged for an extra day when I did not request an extra day I only requested a couple of hours past the return time and that was approved. You have lost a customer and a very unhappy? And I will make sure that if any of my friends or family need a truck I will tell them to go someplace else.

get rid of it, this is the second time I had a they cost me over 7 hours of time to correct their poor service. Worse, Andy, the man who was/is over the Birmingham area, called me, yelled at me in the beginning of the call, lied to me, if a another company came in, I would never ever use uhaul again! You stink!!!

Where to begin about this terrible experience!!! First, trying to call this location was a nightmare. I had to call over 20 times before someone picked up the phone. I requested the trailer early but the gal said I couldn't. I'm pretty sure the trailer was sitting in the parking lot. Then when I got there, it was gas station where I was constantly asked to stand to side so that they could ring up other customers buying goods. Finally, I got my paperwork for the trailer and they tell me its around back and to hook it up myself. I go out there and nearly break my back to try to hook it up. Finally I walk in and ask for help. Once the trailer was on the hitch, she walks away. No other assistance. I open the trailer and there is fast food bags with ants crawling all over it inside the trailer. This was by far the worst UHAUL experience I have ever had!!!! Not only that, they didn't even perform a safety inspection to see if the trailer lights worked. It didn't. I didn't realize it till after I got the trailer to my location. After going thru all that, there was no way I was taking the trailer back to that shitty rental place. HORRIBLE, ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!

I dropped my unit off on Sunday after hours as I was told would be acceptable. I called on Wednesday because I had not received any kind of confirmation that the unit had been received. Upon calling I was told they still had it in their system that the unit had not been returned. The unit I rented sat on their property for three days and went unnoticed and no one checked it in. If I had not called it still would be in Uhauls system as not returned. I am very very dissatisfied with this service.

The manager was not accessible and does not answer the phone to book rentals. The merchant employee's charged my card multiple time causing unnecessary holds to be put on my charge card. When trying to contact them by phone to correct or discuss the problem, the store phone would just ring and the manager would never come to the phone when I ask for them. They hung up on me and then took the phone off the hook & all I got was a busy signals for 3 call attempts afterward. I had to call uhaul customer service to deal with the double charge issues; when the merchant employee or manager that caused the problem should have made sure the charges and money holds on my credit card got released. I should have never been charged twice from the start.
