Attendant at the return facility did not show any concern that the vehicle had leaking problems. he did not even get out of his chair to verify that the fuel had been filled or that the tow dolly I used had been returned. It was like he could not even get out of his chair. I have never been more disappointed in a uhaul return facility

Showed up at 11:30 to drop off the trailer. Told to come back after 2:30. No where in the contract did it state I couldn't drop off the trailer at any time during the day prior to the 'return by' time. I parked the trailer in the U-haul parking area and departed. Got an electronic receipt about an hour later

U-Haul changed the location of my pick-up. The equipment I reserved was not there. The place had no idea where the equipment was. I was forced to rent equipment that I didn't want and had to make it work.

Inside of truck was dirty did not appear anyone from location had Checked the truck. Scheduling people were rude. I was told on Tuesday that I could get the truck from Hwy 31 location at 8. On Friday all that changed and U-Haul could care less

The truck registered double the miles that I drove. I'm infuriated that I was charged almost $200 for the same trip I made last week for approx $100. This location wouldn't take the truck back, which caused me to drive additional miles. The guy that finally accepted the truck back at the main location in Vestavia was very rude and condescending. My overall experience with uhaul this past weekend was awful. This experience I had with Uhaul has made me never want to rent from your company again nor recommend your company to anyone else. This location is in a gas station. There is only 1 person working there and it was VERY slow. I stood in line for 30 minutes while 1 customer was being checked out. I had to go outside and inspect the truck myself and carry everything into the gas station for the clerk (dolley and pads). Clerk was not very friendly and was very slow. I watched another customer call u haul and cancel his reservation while he was there because he had been waiting so long. Need to take a look at this location, not customer friendly what so ever

This location is a convenience store with one worker. There was no U-haul info posted clearly on the outside of the store for ID as a U-haul site.The worker was pleasant, but she attended to every person coming in the door for gas and food. The credit card machine wouldn't work, so the worker had to ask for more details from me while strangers got to hear my information. It took about 1/2 hour to get my truck. U-haul changed my pick-up location twice after my original reservation. This was all very frustrating.

Trailer full of what appeared to be homeless items. I believe someone has been living in the trailer. I had to connect the trailer myself. On return it took over 75 minutes and again no help disconnecting and I had a very hard time disconnecting. No light, everything done in the dark. Had to wait for store cashier to move two trucks in order to back trailer where he wanted it. He brought the wrong keys and had to make several trips. Each time he went in and out he would lock the store door and when he would go back in for correct keys he would stop and wait on customers while I stood in the co,D waiting on him. This store only has one employee everything I go there and has no business taking on rentals while running a store / gas station.

This was the worst experience I have ever had. The digital check in was fine, however the “first” drop off location was horrible. They would not take my key and told me I was at the wrong place when clearly I was not. They directed me to 1024 Montgomery HWY in Vestavia. Vestavia was not able to “transfer” the location because the ticket was closed out which led me to 1 hour and 20 minutes of 9 phone calls, 3 hang up calls and a call to corporate Birmingham “traffic” which was UPSTAIRS!! The woman on the phone said she would transfer the drop off location however as of 4:30 yesterday afternoon it still had the original drop off.

Although this was just a drop off for a truck, the drop-off location was a convenience store/gas station with one clerk trying to do it all. She was trying to confirm the condition of the truck while also trying to check out other people at the counter who were buying gas, cigarettes, etc. Kind of ridiculous.

Customer service personnel was very knowledgable when I dropped truck off. When I tried to book same truck for return trip, I was told it would be $250 more than what I paid in Florida. I booked Penske for my return to Fla. Done with U-Haul price gouging.

This was the most overpriced scamming U-Haul I have ever used in my life I end up in a $107 just to use the U-Haul which was recommended for 24 hours and not be charged but we're charged $109 very very disgusting I would not recommend this place to anybody it's a rip-off
