This review is not actually for Petersen Garage, but for for my original contracted pickup in Baraboo. However that location rented my reserved truck, and left me with nothing. They then offered me a discount to drive to Hillsboro (nearly an hour away). Due to timing, I had no choice but to accept. However, when I picked up the replacement vehicle, the discount would not approve, so i still paid full price, added two hours to my travel time, put me 3 hours (due to the confusion at Baraboo) behind schedule, and all in all I had a miserable experience. Please note: Mr Peterson (?) / Peterson Garage WAS available to help me when the phone-checkin didn't work, so that was appreciated. But Hillsboro is in the middle of nowhere, and was difficult to find. Especially so when I should not have had to go there in the first place.

Neil KThe trailer running lights didn't work, while all other lights worked. There was snow storm in Montana and unable to return at 9am until weather cleared for safety on 3/31/26 return at 12pm with nobody on-site at Miller's for drop off. I called and advised of lighting issue and he said no problem uhaul will pay him to fix it.
