Your last equipment audit overlooked a damaged corner cap and I was blamed for an accident that Did not occur while I had the vehicle, i had to pay a deductible of $150.00. I have 3 other persons that could testify that I did not damage the vehicle. I will warn others when they intend to rent from U-Haul and avoid using U-Haul myself.

Everything was excellent and the employee was super! But I must say tge truck was really stinky. It smelled awful like cigarettes! I detest cigarettes. In fact I am a 3 time cancer survivor and I am currently battling cancer so to have to drive a stinky cigarette truck was not nice. But everything else was great! I do not think that any of the employees had anything to do with the cigarette stench. It must have been whomever rented it before me. Terrible. Really sickening.

Everything was great except my name was spelled completely wrong on the receipt that I received in the email. It would be nice to know tgat UHaul cares enough to get my name correct especially since I have rented vehicles from yiur company several times snd have been a customer for many years. To add insult to the unfortunate situation, when I called Uhaul customer care to correct it, they said tgat they had no way to correct the glaring error. My name is “Timothy Wiencis” not Timothy Wensis!!!

i had rented a small 10 foot truck at first for 8/30/2018 and the next day i called in and ordered a 20 foot truck for 9/4/2018, when i was getting the order for the big truck the gentleman who took my order was aware that i have the first reservation. for some reason or other he gave me the same confirmation number, on 8/30/2018 when i went to pick up the truck, the manager of the store said she did not have a truck for me, no matter how much i argued with her and showed her my confirmation letter she would not acvcept it and made me go to a different location 6 miles away to pick up a van, no less, cause they all did not have a truck available,,,,, well my stuff did not fir in the van, and this caused me majot problems. i dont understand why did the manager kept refusing to give me the truck, she had 3 of them on the lot, cause she said it belonged to other reservations,,,,, are u kidding me, what does my reservation look like i am pisssssed as hell, i feel like i was treated wrong,,,, there was no reason for her to refuse giving me a truck,. i think i deserve refund on the 178 dollars i paid for nothing, .. yaffa

Arrived to pick up the rental. Waited a while for some one to come into the office. Got no hello, one guy sat in a chair and played on his phone, don’t even think he worked there, the other guy couldn’t even look up. He looked miserable. The dimensions of the unit I rented didn’t even come close to what I needed. Inside was 6’2”, But the gate opening was 4’. Could t get anything on the trailer. Told the guy this might not work. Went right back to return it and got charged for a full day, it was 40 minuets to bring Home and go right back. Wish the dimensions would have been shaired online and in person that I would have been charged a full day.

Drop off the trailer after hours. So I really cannot comment on the location but the after hour location was very well lit and very well marker. However your 800 number to check in the trailer was not very clear. When I picked up the trailer, I told the attendant that I did not know the area. The attendant in Boston told me that it was ok to drop the trailer off at any location in the Long Island area. The people in the Long Island recommended Hicksville. I was happy to drop it off there but when I called your 800 number they told me that there was a $200 fine. I think you need to tell people if there is going to be a $200 fine or tell your people what the drop off policy is.

Although the service was great and quick I find the billing practices a little questionable. A $29 dollar 4 hour 25 mile rental turned out to be $115!!!! I was charged for the rental, the mileage the gas and a hand truck I never requested or used. I think uhaul should be a little more explicit before they complete the rental. I was even charged for several incidental items I can't explain. So I guess the old adage still rings true. LET THE BUYER BEWARE,

I felt the truck wasn’t mechanicals sound. It was vibrating and jerking a lot. Wasn’t smooth to drive. I’ve had better experience with my earlier U-Haul rental.

Ordered a 20 foot truck but got a 15. Customer brought back 20' with no gas. Manager gave us an extra day free, which we appreciated...and needed! Recommend having fueling means on site to gas trucks.

absolutely hated the app login process, it was too long and didnt know why someone needed to be called to verify my identity when i took a selfie and uploaded both sides of my driver's license. It would have been much easier to just do check in inside as the young man who helped me was super nice and he should be recognized for his professionalism.

great people great equipment. Van rented was a low mileage Vehicle in excellent condition/clean. Drove and handled fulled loaded down- excellent. Note: Commercial Vehicle. For NY and CT have to navigate around parkways... but that has nothing to do with rental.

This was first time experience renting, staff at Bethpage answered every question & was very helpful on pick up as well as return. Only suggestion, remind drivers the headlights must manually be turned on. We are now society spoiled with auto lights.. (totally my fault, pulled over by state police for the reminder.)
