Sydney, Tiffany, & David are great and very helpful. The GM here is very abrasive and condescending. Some days he will be super nice, then the next visit it’s a horrible experience. Corporate U-Haul and roadside assistance were all great and very helpful too.

Make sure the information entered on the online input is available when you go to the location to pick up your rental. Kind of aggravating when your associate at the location has to ask all of the questions you just entered on your mobile device or computer

Had rented a cargo van at . 79 cents / mile. Instead I was told at pickup that I could not rent cargo van unless I had a credit card. Was not told this from the onset. Had to rent a truck at .99 cents / mile instead. Could have saved 25 bucks

How about being truthfull!!!! I reserved a 20' Truck on line. This location said they had a 20' available on line. When I arrived, I was told they did not have a 20' truck but could provide a 26' at no additional cost. How about posting available equipment correctly rather than pushing your 26' trucks out in a dishonest fashion. I checked the wedsite again that day... This location still said they had 20' trucks available. I saw at least 5 26' trucks there but no 20' trucks.

I even asked the lady working to look up the cost for the rental without giving her any info of the rockhill location, and I was also told the cost would be 41 dollars at this time I told them and showed them my receipt they are the ones that gave me the number that I will be calling on Monday.

Please train the older guy at this location. He tried to scan a QR code with the screen of his phone, did not respond when asked a question just stated with an open mouth. Not only that he tried to deny me service because I didn't have a credit card. He said that it was absolutely only credit card, not debit. I wonder how many people he has turned down for this. So that was after 40 minutes of trying to get through the process in store. So I decided to do it myself on the app and look it happened to work. WITH A DAMN DEBIT CARD. So I go inside so I can retrieve my key and surprise surprise there is no one inside. 20 minutes pass and still no one to help. Right when I was leaving I saw someone finally go inside so I went back inside and got the key to the cargo van. This whole process was a huge waste of time as it took 2 hours. I really would rather not come back to this location for the extremely poor experience.

Best location I’ve ever been too. Nice, helpful, friendly and make you feel like they’ve known you for years. The young lady that checked me out is an awesome representative for U-haul. I would hire her if I had a business because her personality and general care/concern are authentic and unheard of. Super impressed with the Hickory location.

This company double card me but was to unprofessional to email and let me know they will correct the problem instead they just told me to call back on Monday. Very poor service with handling of double charging a customer.

When coming to this location I felt as though we weren't given all the information we needed to know while renting the U-Haul. We were not informed of the $20 after service fee that is charged if you drop off after hours. I completed the online link that was sent to me to avoid the after hours service fee, but was still charged it. We were not informed of where to park the U-Haul once it was returned or where to put the keys. We were simply told here is the key and what row the U-Haul was parked in. We were not given information about the products inside the U-Haul and what the fees would be if we were to use those. We did use the hand trucks & they were very handy, so I did not mind paying the $14 charge for that because we did use the product. I had rented the U-Haul from 3pm to 9pm. We then realized we were going to need one more hour in order to finish unloading, so I called and spoke with a rep named Melissa and she said she'd make a note that we'd be dropping it off at 10am. Not once was it disclosed that we'd be charged anything more for that, but apparently we were. I was highly dissatisfied with the lack of information that this company provides. I do understand there is a rental contract in place, however, I feel as though it's part of U-Hauls job to explain that information up front and give the customer a copy of the contract if they need to refer back on anything in the agreement. I would NOT go through this company again. A $89 trip turned into a $200 trip.

Customer service center sucks they tell you one thing and it turns out to be the complete opposite. they need to be in sync with the stores

Worst experience ever! And extremely over priced! Drove 76 miles and ended up paying $140 We got there very early and ended up being there over an hour. The guy messed up the order the first time which was $81 something so he had to refund it but before refunding it, he set up the new order the right way. That price was $89 something. He was trying to charge me that before refunding me the other $81. I told him I needed it refunded first. He said "oh you need that back first?" Sounded like a scam to me. Eventually he finally got it right. We also ordered the furniture dolley and had one of the other guys go make sure one was in our uhaul. He did and said everything was good. When we got to the uhaul the dolley was not in there. Also, he had in the computer that the uhaul had a full tank and said I need to bring it back with a full tank. Got in it and it was a little over half a tank so we had to once again go back in the store. Also had to have it back by 6pm and he kept taking other people before us when we were the first ones in the store that morning. A guy was waiting in line with some boxes and the guy asked us if he could ring him up first and we said "well if you need it back buy a certain time we kinda need to hurry up so we can leave" because at that point we were very frustrated with everything that had already happened. And he said "oh it'll only take a second" and he proceeded to ring up the other guy. Ok so finally got to leave with it. When we got back I pulled up to the door because I had never been there before and didn't know where to go. We waved over the guy standing outside and he came over to the window and said "you see those arrows over there, that kinda means that's where you go" just talking to me like I'm stupid. I just overall was extremely unsatisfied with the service. Last year I went to this other smaller uhaul place on 70 back the other way and I went to Virginia and back... A 2.5 hour drive there and back and only spent a total of maybe $60. With I would have went back to that one. We thought if we went to the big store it would be better... NOPE!!! Huge rip off and waste of time.
