I dropped it off an hour before I was supposed to..:they were closed..I called the uhaul number..they said to go online to check location services wouldn't work so I called back..they said just to put the contract and key in the drop box and everything would be fine..the next day I found out they charged me for another day even though I was an hour early...I called uhaul and I'm waiting for a call back to see if they will take off the extra day on the truck...i shouldn't have to pay for the extra day cause they were closed and I was an hour early..

Contacting uhaul customer service was great but the dealer was very rude when I went to pick up. Gave nothing but attitude from the beginning. Will not go back there.



the young girl that reserved the truck for us was excellant we had been that morning to two other u-hauls and the customer service was nothing compared to the girl at the Mariposa Rd location maybe she could give your other uhauls customer service classes.

The personal were disrespectful and agressive while handling objections. The objecrtion was the over fill of fuel due a miss plan with attendant at rental pick uo. When asking and suggesting alternatives i was then yelled at. Then after completing my phone call with corp customer service explaining my situation i went in to the building complete the check out process. i was charged over rime and insurance. I objected as i have been renting for years and no uhaul dealer has ever charged me for being mins late! They stated thier policies and proceeded to circle and rrstate the contract items relating to thier position and subsequent actions. Later. I asked thier names, the female gave her first and was combative in demeanor. The manager decline to provide any identification and challenged any questions and would not allow any diolouge regarding understanding of company policy from customer, I e me! When I explained that I spoke w corporate cs regarding my objections he became challenging by exclaiming that I spoke to corporate and didn't not discuss with them, thus I felt threaten yet remain poise and told him we can discuss now. he then became authorative and reread the policy with any further a due. I retreated and left after he finished. I have spoken to the regional and he credited me overages and fuel expense. Which I used for the next rental the next day.

The young lady who checked me in did so after hours. She was very understanding of my wish to drop off the trailer. I thought you were open till 5 and I was wrong. She never made me feel that I was inconveniencing her even though I made her get home later than normal. She was funny and sweet!

Night drop off after hours wasn't the easiest. There were no lights and we luckily had a vehicle that could pull the trailer over the curb to drop it with a couple of others.

Shortly after picking up U-Haul we received a phone call asking us to drop off U-Haul in Lomita. This was not the case as I clearly told receptionist that U-Haul would be dropped off in Torrance which is about a mile or so from my brother's house making it convenient for him. She told me this was okay since we have an open drop off location in case we changed our mind. At 2:21pm on 4/09 this same day I received and email stating as per our conversation we've included an agreed upon link to drop off location in Lomitas. This is also not true. Can you please clarify as to why this would be the case? Subsequently, my brother dropped off the U-Haul on Sunday in Torrance with no apparent difficulties. Other than this on fact we were very please with service provided, Thank you.



I was supposed to get $50 credit back on my card because I went to pick up my reservation and they had rented it out already, and they were only supposed to take $330 out of my account instead they took $440 out. And they still have not told me a reason for that either

I originally ordered a truck from the Lorene facility. I wanted a 26 ft, but was told it wouldn't be available until the following weekend - it was broken down. I settled for a 20', but when I got there they tried to give me a 17'. The irony - the guy two in front of me walked in and was given a 26' without a reservation. WTF? I was sent to the Mariposa U-Haul and they were wonderful.
