These guys are great, picked up my truck on a Sunday and Robert went through the instructions smoothly. And I was in a rush that i left and I forgot my CC and after 10 mins I called back to check if I left it there, Robert got it and and he was about to call me. (It was a busy Sunday morning, thank God nobody stole it) So honest and so kind hearted. His partner which I forgot his name was also very helpful! These guys will succeed in every little things they do because they have integrity!!! Blessings!

We rented a truck for Sept 30th. When we called to inquire about the truck the lady didn't have a reservation for us, even though we had a receipt number. She said it wasn't in her file. At the last minute we had to scramble to find another store to rent one. This one was farther, meaning more miles, more money. I am furious that we weren't informed that the UHaul Moving and Storage in Groton, CT made no attempt to contact us, we gave phone numbers, and let us know they didn't have a truck available. This was a bad experience for me. I might look for another moving truck company the next time. Very unprofessional.

Not sure if you can address the issue, but the cab shook more than a previous rental (a 26' Penske truck) over minor bumps in the road--that car shock absorbers handle--to the point where the mirrors vibrated keeping the image a little blurry {example road Jefferson between Rt-85 and Chester St, New London}. I also did not hear the back-up sound (beeping), but I was driving and it may be directional behind the truck. I requested the truck online Sunday 9/30. When I found out when I could get a ride to pick up the truck, I realized I would need the rental more than 24 hours. I called on Wednesday to extend the return time to Sunday, giving me more than 30 hours I planned. I spoke with a lady in the regional U-Haul office. For reason's unbeknownst to me, my local rental was changed to a on-way with origin and destination the same (contract 26143470). On Friday when I arrived to pickup the truck, the local agent tried to work with the contract. After a few tries, he cancelled it and made a new one (contract 9628536) a local move. This worked better and cost less, as you know from your rate structure. You might want to follow up with the agent in your office that gooned up the contract.

I had requested a dozen pads to assist in my move and they were not there in truck as I thought they would be. Being a little hurried in the morning of my move (it was raining) I was disappointed to see that my request was not covered during my check-in

Fast and easy to make an online reservation. Fast and easy pick-up and drop-off steps. A small suggestion -- let customers know (if you don't already) that initial payment is a holding cost, an estimate, and that actual cost is re-calclated and finalized at the end. I am a first-time customer and was very satisfied.

When a customer books a Truck, it has to be available at time of booking, rescheduling it on the day of pick to the following day is absolutely NOT acceptable. I had two people scheduled to help me and had to cancel the move to Sunday.

Came in on September 2, 2018 to reserve a 17’ truck for two days. I was told everything was good. When I got home, I looked at my receipt and it said I only reserved one day, so I called back to confirm it was two days. The representative at Uhaul said everything was fine and I’d have it for two days. The morning of my pick up, a different representative said I only have the truck until 6pm. Not two days—not even one full day. He claimed there was nothing he could do. So I had to shell out extra money to get enough help to get moved in a shorter timeframe. Will not use again.

Excellent service and a very beautiful facility. The only improvement would be to have additional parking for anyone renting one of your vans/trucks to leave their car on-site. I had no problem but there was not adequate parking for vehicles without taking up spaces for anyone who just needed to go inside the office to conduct a quick transaction or pick up some storage boxes.

Robert was good, but the other guy that was working there was a jerk. Instead of walking me through my bill, he was more concern with another customer. The application signed me into the same truck as another customer that signed in at the desk, and I, the disabled person, was told to remove my things for her. Not asked nicely. Told to. I was in a hurry. I made no scene about it, but I do not like what happened.
