They never told me about the Tow/Hauling setting, which was already pre-set in the truck, yet I never said nor asked to tow anything, this was simply my son's bedroom move to an apartment. So for the 100+ mile drive I was in this mode, making for very high transmission shifting rpm's, using much more gas than was necessary. Only when I turned it in and explained how the truck ran was I told of this mode, and that I could have disabled it myself. I spent over $50 in gas for what I thought was a short, simple drive. Other than spending alot more for gas, everything else was fine.

I was denied the ability to take the truck at 7am due to "failing a reaction test" and was not allowed to make another reservation until the store opened. this was new years day and i had men waiting on the truck to move. I wish we were able to make another reservation or retake the test. it was very inconvenient.

The truck smelled from cigarette smoke. Also had to fill the tires with air. Lastly, the the fuel amount was overstated to what the truck actually had in the tank.

I have rented many U-Haul trucks over the years, this had to be the worst truck I have ever drove. I thought for sure I was going to break a lot of this inside the truck. Exterior was smashed and definitely has had its toll taken out on it, the cab was ok but the ride was horrible. I will look at better equipment next time even if I have to pay more. The guys at the store were good and I understand that people don’t take care of these trucks but better service on equipment is needed.

Ask scheduling to be well informed on scheduling customers for pick up location. They scheduled me for wrong location without my knowledge only to arrive at. Location & find it closed.

I have been a faithful Uhaul customer at this location for many years now. Ive always been treated with respect n felt good about the entire transaction every time. However when someone is making an online reservation for more than 2 days it should pop up a window letting you know a week rental is so much cheaper.(especially with mileage)!!!! Overall as always a pleasure.

The crew at your 529 Wade Hampton Greenville SC! store was excellent! lead by BoBo! Here's where things went obviously south of excellent! I delivered both the truck and auto transporter to suggested location off hwy 85 in Riverdale Ga! The next day I called to confirm drop off! I believe the call was forwarded to Customer Service! who in turn informed me I was being charged an additional fee ($1.38) for going over the mileage (3+) miles! after originally being told if you are a few miles over! I would not be charged! by 2 separate employees! Granted it is it less then $2.00 and I already had a 10 dollar plus store credit! Your Customer Service Rep could only see the truck and not the transporter as being returned! I spent the greater part of the day attempting to get the transporter checked in! to lower the risk of being charged or worse! The first Customer Service Rep(Kiyoko)! was truly a sweetheart! She actually baby sat me attempted over and over again to resolve all pending issues! which at that time did not seem to be the overall culture! As oppose to having me continuously hold on! she would continue to find the answers to all concerns!(Being charged for additional miles & confirmation of transporter!) Ms. Kiyoko did call back! unfortunately I missed the call! but listened to her message of not being able to get through and her calls were still being rerouted! My second Customer Service Rep(Ivy)! I was left on hold and finally hung up after waiting an hour! Yes! an hour of being on hold! Frustrated! I tried again the next day! and then there is Jay! A true gentleman! After I explaining exactly where I parked the transporter! He asked me to hold! returned and stated it was there! but never checked in! So he would do it and further stated he would email a receipt and confirmed the email address! The confusion and frustration was more then the rental was worth! Brother Muhammad 864-553_6535

$50 fee if keys were not placed in "drop box"...there was literally an unmarked slit in the window that allowed you to drop the key in to a cardboard box on the other side...it was so unapparent it seemed like they wanted you to not find it so they could charge the $50

We feel that we were given probably the oldest and most worn out truck on the lot. Lots of other better looking same size trucks appeared to be sitting there when we picked up and we were given an older and not as nice vehicle. The truck ran fine and wasn't dirty thankfully.

Look at the trailer and see if it is level. If it is not, suggest a solution so part of the trailer is not dragging everytime you go over a bump in the road. Also, make sure that ALL lights, including running lights, are working before the customer leaves.
