It wasn't clear which door we should use, the staff didn't know how to process our reservation, and we were just handed the keys and told "the truck is out there" with a vague point out to the parking lot. To be fair, we didn't plan on picking our truck up at this location. But the truck we reserved in Evans Mills suddenly wasn't available and we were told to come here. I will not support Uhaul until the reservation system actually works. In the same breath, we were told "your truck couldn't be held in case another family needed it" and "we'll hold your truck in Gouverneur." Either you can hold vehicles or you can't. I don't make a reservation at a hotel only to be told "sorry, someone else needed your room, so here is a cot and you can go sleep in a closet." There is enough craziness happening during a move. I don't need Uhaul adding to it.

I found the equipment in excellent condition, but i find $67.00 for a two hour use a bit high.

If it wasn't for Ms. April, I think I would have gone with a different rental company. The way uhaul setup blows, the trailers suck, and let's not get started on how I had to drive a total of 80 miles, out of my own pocket just to pick my rentals up because instead of being able to drive 10 miles down the road where I wanted to go, my truck was 40 miles from home, and the trailer was an extra 30 miles! Don't book online, call April she will do the best she can to make things right where uhaul will fail you. Budget gives you unlimited miles at least. The truck gets 9 miles to the gallon loaded, 10mpg empty.

We did have some struggles with equipment. We got the truck at Waltons but had to drive to Canton to get the equipment. When we got there, the gentleman (who was lovely!) didn't know what we were talking about so we had to pay again, in cash, for the equipment. I did speak to Amy at the scheduling office a few times and she was very helpful!

I had to take ten minutes to sweep out the debris left by the previous user brought this to the attention of the staff who seemed unconcerned

Both the box and the cab of the truck had a lot of dirt in them. I had to clean it when I dropped it off, so it would have been nice if it was clean when I got it. The people at Waltons were very nice and friendly.
