The worker at the front desk "Cesar" needs to be fired. I had reserved a 17' truck 3-4 days before I picked it up on Saturday. First of all he was yawning the whole time...it looks like he didn't have enough asleep the night before...I thought that wasn't a good start...and then he gave me my paperwork without saying anything that he didn't have the 17' truck. When I went outside some other guy brought a 15' truck which I told him that there was a mistake because mine is supposed to be a 17'. The gentleman outside (don't know his name) was nice and explained that the paperwork says 15' that's why he got that ready for me. I went back inside and asked Cesar if he can fix my paperwork so I can get the 17'. Cesar told me that they didn't have the 17' truck. What pissed me off that he didn't even tell me that he was out of the 17'...as a curtesy the customer needs to know ahead of time. Basically if I hadn't paid attention or had an idea the difference between a 15' and a 17'...I would've been fooled... This comment is for U-Haul company If you cannot guarantee a customer a 17' truck then making reservation to new 3-4 days prior to pick up date is non sense... I will definitely not rent a truck from U haul again. You need to look into this "Cesar" guy. He's an idiot!!!!

Gas gauge was returned at the same rate (1/2 tank, receipt available) but it was not marked that way upon return inspection and was charged $7.13 for the gas refueling.

The U-Haul I went to overbooked cargo vans. They gave me a box truck instead. The facility said they would only charge me for the cargo van milage but charged me for the box truck milage. The person helping me told me to email U-Haul to get reimbursed for the funds, I emailed and never heard back.

- glendale charged me an extra day for after hour drop-off, picked up trailer at Wed night 6:45, dropped off sunday night, store closed early on sunday, why the extra day charge? - glendale should answer the phone instead of call center, I called 6 times in one day, everyyime went to call center, they all say the same thing, we can send a message to Glendale, one said to drive to the glenale store to resolve the issue, funny - call center sent manager at glendale a message, no call back from glendale store to resolve the issue - The lady who answered my first call at the call center was very unprofessional and rude and told me that she will hamg up on me because I was asking a lot of questions - I rented trailers from Pasadena and Altadena before with no issues at all for similar situations, come on Glendale, get it right.

I ordered a 26 foot truck and there wasn't one available when I got to the u-Haul on my scheduled time. Ended up with a smaller truck so I had to take more trips which cost me more money. The truck was also very dirty. I will not be renting another truck from u-Haul.

The instructions given to me by the store representative were to call the drop off location prior to return of truck was incorrect and resulted in me being treated in a rude way and condescending tone by the call center representative that told me "well if that's what it says on the paper" and failed to listen that I'm calling due to the instructions given to me by an employee. Then it turns out I was being charged an extra day and was fixed after 15mins.

I reserved a 15' truck at this location 10 days prior to needing it. My reservation was moved to 4 different locations less than 24 hours before the reservation time. Additionally, my reservation time was changed from 9 AM to 1:30 Pm, then 3 pm, then 4:30 PM. Eventually I went to the location directly to speak with someone as the customer service lines were ineffective. While waiting in lineto speak to a representative, the gentleman directly in front of me reserved a 15' truck for 9 AM, the same equipment and time that I had requested a week earlier. This was, without question, the worst experience I have had with a rental company. I will be filing a complaint with the district manager.

I arrived at exactly 7:30am at Uhaul in Brand Blvd in Glendale. CA where I have to pick up the 15footer truck that I reserved. The office was "open" but NOBODY was there. I looked for anybody outside the office and within the premises but NOBODY was there also. So I decided to go back to the office, and it was already 10minutes that passed by, and still NOBODY was still in the office, so I called over the telephone the Uhaul Customer Service and learned that the person assigned that time and day was a certain "Cesar", then after about 20'minutes more and during my conversation over the phone with Uhaul customer service, a man wearing a Uhaul uniform was Walking inside the office and when I asked he said he ism"Cesar" and that he was outside looking for the returned truck which I think was a lie because I roamed around the premises outside the office but NOBODY was there. This is a Ridiculous place!!! I will not rent here NOR refer friends and relatives to this Uhaul location. It is completely disgusting!!!

When I reserved the truck I requested to be ready at 7:00 AM. I had a long day ahead of me and needed to meet a certain time schedule. The place was open at 7:00 AM but nobody behind the counter. It took another 10 minutes for somebody to show up then another 10 minutes to switch the truck because the trucks were not arranged in the right order. The truck was dirty outside.

All was great, except for one minor issue. We were told to return it by 8pm and when we arrived at 7:53 one female representative at this location gave us some attitude and said "Sorry, no, we're closed" whereas another employee (latino, male, forgot the name) was super helpful and more than happy to help us return the vehicle.
