Brooke was friendly and helpful.
It takes too long when you have to talk to an associate on the phone. The system always put you on hold for 15 to 30 minutes. It's a waste of important time. Once you get a chance to talk to an associate all is well.
I made reservation to pick up 10' truck at another location in Gardendale at 3:30 p.m.. After arriving there, I was told they didn't have a truck for me and was told to call 800 number. I requested to speak with a supervisor. I was repeatedly booked for another location that was 20 miles out of my way. I re-submitted my reservation to Fultondale location. Arrived there and was told nothing was on file for me. The front desk lady was very helpful and called 800 number to help me. I was only able to rent the 15' not 10' for several hours and not the 24 hours I needed. I requested a discount because of my inconvenience and was denied. It took me 2 1/2 hours between phone calls to 800 rep, driving around town before getting a uhaul.
The windshield inside the van was so dirty it was a road hazard . Check oil light was on the dashboard.
If I have to say anything on needed improvement is there should be at least 2 ppl working to assist customers.
My grandson and I had an enjoyable day together picking up a new bedroom suit for him in a UHaul truck. It could not have been handled any easier. The U-Haul employees did a great job handling our reservation.
the original drop off place was not open when it said they would be. Had to find a second drop off place . it was good.
Brooke was very polite and patient. Went to connect trailer and had the wrong hitch but had the correct one in the car. Then had to locate the keys to unlock it. Kept apologizing but she said it was no problem at all. When another customer pulled in, we told her to go ahead and take care of them while we looked for the keys and swapped out the hitch. She called to the customer and said she would be right there but the customer was just looking for her card to get in the gate and said she had found it. We got the hitch switched out, she attached the chains, took a picture, and we were on our way. Had a great experience from reserving the trailer early, having to change the pick up date, to actually picking up the trailer. No problem getting it all handled. Thank you, Brooke!!! No improvements needed!!!

NOTHING BECAUSE EVERYTHING WENT PERFECTLY WELL. THE MANAGER WAS OUTSTANDING. SHE WAS VERY EAGER TI HELP ME WITH MY RENTAL ABD MADE THAT MY EXPERIENCE WAS GREAT.
We reserved an appliance dolly with this trailer. When we arrived we were told with a giggle "oh sorry our last one just left with that man" We had to go to another location and pick up what should have been held as per the reservation.
We will never use UHaul again, the original place we reserved our truck from was on Highway 31 at Gardendale Flea Mall, when we get there to get our truck we did the process on our phone. The back door of the truck had a padlock on it so we could not get in it. After about an hour on the phone trying to get someone we still could not get in the truck, and the Flea Mall was not open. We had to go to the location on Carson Road to get another truck. Although the lady in the office was very friendly and very helpful, our truck was very dirty on the inside. We had our whole day planned as to what time we would leave and get to our destination and it was all messed up. The only thing we were offered was to not be charged the 50.00 reservation fee. We were very unsatisfied with this experience with UHaul and the way they handled it!
The employee on duty was excellent. I watched her deal with a disgruntled customer in the most mannerable way possible while meeting company guidelines. She remained calm, focused and as helpful as possible with the irate customer, me and others waiting.
Operating hrs on door and phone (7p closing) were wrong, they had changed hours to 6p close. The turn-in location was wrong. this was u-haul's mistake, and the lady wasn't pleasant.

The staff member was late to work, and so she had several people waiting to pick up their trucks. The one I was assigned was filthy. A piece of fried chicken skin and crust was stuck to the steering wheel. The ashtray was full of cigarette ashes and the truck stunk horribly of cigarettes. There was less than 1/8 a tank of gas in the truck, and I had already had to pick up further from my original pick up spot. I was supposed to have 24 packing blankets, but the staff member said she forgot about them. I didn't discover this until I had gone back to my moving spot. I couldn't waste another hour dealing with this. The cargo area of the truck was filthy.....she told me I couldn't pick up early because she had to disinfect the truck. But the cab was nasty, and the cargo area was full of trash, crayons, a busted piggy bank with coins everywhere.....it was obvious no one had cleaned this truck. I returned the truck with 1/2 a tank of gas and it was clean....i swept it out and sprayed it with Lysol. I would never want anyone to get what I received when picking up my UHaul.
Sara was very patient and helpful.... her nails were dope but more than anything she helped me solve my issue...

The condition of the truck was horrible. Something had been spilled in the back of the truck and opening the roll up door smelled like a gym locker. The inside of the cab was also very dirty, smelled like an old smokers truck and the overhead light cover fell while driving. Then the transmission slipped so bad I thought I had been hit from behind. Unless it was an absolute emergency I couldn't imagine renting another â€œin townâ€ truck from UHaul.
the manager was a true delight to do buisness with.
She was great and helpful. They had coffee.
