On a road trip with my son, we needed a major repair on our truck. Severiano was great helping us find a temporary replacement tow rig and get our trailer hooked up to it so we could get up to Kings canyon and Sequoia while our truck was being repaired. Alejandro was very helpful getting our trailer disconnected from the uhaul truck and back on our rig before getting the uhaul rig checked in. These gents went above and beyond to help.

While standing in line I overheard one of the workers tell a customer if you’re 15 minutes late you lose your reservation. We had been standing in line for awhile and there were still two people in front of us so even though we arrived at appointed time, 20 minutes had passed so I asked what happens if we were here on time but been in line so now over the 15 minutes. I was answered with “don’t worry about what I’m telling them, worry about yourself. This is there time at the counter and their reservation so wait your turn”. Very rudely I might ad. I ended up dealing with a young man named Seven who was wonderful and even apologized for how I was treated. When taking back truck at 7am the next day the same rude employee was who we dealt with and was just as rude and condescending when my card wouldn’t go through. He asked why don’t I carry cash and I let him know that’s not his business. It ended up being a hold on my account due to possible fraud and was cleared for use again. I called the store, let them know to let him know, I knew his name then but threw his card away, and to please call me back to let me know cats cleared and rental agreement was closed as he stated he was leaving it open til he “hopefully” heard from me. I will never deal with this location again and only had to due to no trucks available at closer location. Next time I will go to another place of business should I need to rent a truck again as this experience has left me not wanting to give my business and money to a place of business that treats their customers like we are beneath them. Also, he reprimanded me and my friend as we brought back a full tank of gas as that’s what agreement paperwork showed yet it was at 3/4 of a tank. My friend who has never used a rental place drove the truck from your location to where I was moving from and didn’t know to look at gas gauge. When I saw where it was at the store phone rang but no one answered. So besides $70 plus for truck I also filled tank up and it was $18 extra to get it to full instead of where it really was when I picked it up. Except for Seven and his professional and timely check in, the overall experience was HORRIBLE.

I made reservations at another location that didn’t have the truck I reserved. Then tried to blame me for being late, when the truck wasn’t even available. So after spending over an hour on the phone to find this location.

For one, you can keep your word or have your locations on the same page. I had to stop at three different locations before I finally got what I needed and I was promised a $50 credit that I never received either. I was very disappointed. The first location didn’t have any trucks at all so they looked in their system and sent me to a downtown location and reserved me a 20’ truck but when I got there, there wasn’t any truck available and we spent a good 20 Minutes there before going to our third location. At the second location they said I would receive a $50 credit when I got to the third location which was even further away where I needed to be. When I get to the third location, they wouldn’t give me the $50 credit and said I should’ve received it at the second location. The customer service was nonexistent as well. I had the truck about as long as it took me to finally get it. It was very unacceptable in every aspect. I really hope you make the necessary changes to address these issues and I would like what I was promised

The service was great. A couple of things might be helpful. One if you listed on the sign the requirements to rent a trailer like verification of ID and a reference if your first time renter would be very helpful. The second thing it would be very helpful is to have a sign or tell folks that you need rope in order to secure items in the trailer if you rent one. That would've been very helpful. Other than that the assistant manager or the person that helped us was just fantastic

The young man who helped me was so nice and personable. (I can't remember his name). He was busy so I certainly didnt mind waiting my turn. So glad he helped me! He took his time to explain the specifics of the truck and was just so professional but really sweet. As an older woman I was nervous about driving it but he gave me a lot of instruction and tips. GIVE HIM A RAISE!!! I've worked in customer service in the legal field for over 30 years so I know the goof from the bad. This young man is absolutely an INCREDIBLE ASSET TO YOUR COMPANY.
