I confirmed a week in advance where I wanted to drop off my rental.I received a text message Sunday that i had to drop off my rental here. This was 10 miles farther that I had to drive. Once I got there the guy gave me attitude telling me he didn't want to except my rental. He said he was had to many rentals and i need to go somewhere else.

I had no problem with the equipment. However, the computer was not accurate with respect to the amount of gas in the truck. The discrepancy was noted on the contract, but when I returned the truck I was charged for gas anyway. After several phone calls, it was agreed that I would not be charged for gas. However, my card was charged a third time for the full amount of the purchase. As of this moment I have been charged $224 for a $98 rental. I have been told there are credits coming, but it is very frustrating that I am out $125 for a week because the employees of u-haul cannot get the financial transaction right the first time.

My experience with U-Haul was completely terrible. I reserved a 20 ft truck for my move plus a furniture dolly, standard dolly, and appliance dolly. Two days later I was called because I was being upgraded because there were no more 20 ft trucks available. That’s great! Ten minutes before my scheduled pickup, I was called and told not only were there no 24’ trucks, there were also no 20’ trucks available and I would be getting a 17’ truck. Ten minutes before my pickup time?? When I went to pickup my truck, there was one person working and a huge line. Once I finally got to the front, she couldn’t find my reservation, then sent me to a different store across town because she didn’t have a truck for me! I had to wait again, and the only equipment I actually got that I reserved was a furniture dolly. The truck barely fit everything (if it hadn’t, I would have had to pay an additional $100 for the additional mileage), and after returning the truck, I was charged for the 24’ truck - which I hadn’t even ordered in the first place! The worker wouldn’t change the bill because I already had the mileage discounted. The whole process was a joke and made my move much more stressful than it needed to be. I will never be using U-Haul again, I know there are other moving companies out there and just about anyone can provide better service than this.

They just need more help for picking up a rental and the returning of the rental. Took much too long, so with additional staff things would be fantastic. Truck was great!

Customer service wasn’t really that good. The guy at the counter was helpful but as far as the guys out front it was sub par at best. I was told my vehicle would be out front, and it was not. Took some looking sound to find an employee to find the truck. When I came back to drop off the lane to pull in wa completely blocked with U-haul vehicles and I has to pull in the designated exit. No employees outside to be seen. Waited inside in line for about 30 min only to find out the guy outside we’re supposed to help me. Eventually I found an employee, who was helpful once I found him.

Truck was out of fuel it stalled and would not start as I pulled into the gas station less than a half mile away gauge was below the e when I picked it up the truck burned oil within two miles the oil light came on during my short usage 80 miles I had to put 3 quarts of oil in the truck and light was back on and needing more oil

It was SUGGESTED to me that I COULD set up an account when I made the reservation. I said then that we wanted to keep the truck for 24 hours. I should have been given more information at that time. My husband picked up the truck. He attempted to return the truck the following day within the 24-hour period. We were not aware that the location would be closed, and then had to work through the process of me setting up an account, communicating with him by phone, and following the complex steps to return the truck after closing. By the time we did all that, we were past the 24-hour period and we’re charged for another entire day. For this reason, we will not be renting from U-Haul again.

They charged me $150 in damage fees for something that I did not do. Then they argued with me about it basically telling me that I was wrong and that they were right. The manager would not even listen to me and had total attitude as did he is employee. Telling me it was common sense for people to know about the mechanics of the van I rented. So in other words he was calling me dumb!

The gas tank had less than an 1/8 of a tank in it. They really should fill up the trucks to a half of a tank so that people don't have to immediately run to the nearest gas station. Sure they gave me a $17 fuel credit if I brought it back with a 1/4 of a tank, but driving a big moving truck is not easy and trying to squeeze it into a gas station because someone else returned it empty is annoying.



I am calling the location tomorrow. I was charged an additional $23.00 for I dont know what. Same thing happened when I rented a U-Haul a couple years ago. Had to get charges reversed. Very upset . I don’t have time to deal with this!!

Improvements were already being made in the form of new "menus". The first time I used this location I had trouble finding customer parking. This time, time there was only 1 parking space available and it was pretty small. I drive a full size pickup, so it was a tight squeeze. There is limited space at this location, so I don't really know what could be done to improve it. I'm not complaining, just a suggestion, since you were asking > mark customer parking more clearly from the entrance.
