This location is very convenient and well maintained. When I went to pick up, the "bigwigs" were there shaking hands and chatting but didn't engage any customers to ask how their experience was. The agent who did my contract was great. The agent who gave me my van was great. The van was almost new and had almost 3/4 a tank of gas. When I returned to check in, there was only one agent on duty, causing me to wait for about 15 minutes to turn in. His handheld PDA wasn't working properly and it took quite a while for him to check me in and issue my receipt. Locations need to have enough people on duty to handle the needs of customers (regardless of who called in sick).

The process is to slow too rent. Also, the equipment parked all over the place hinders the rentals from using the storage area.

Rented a 26 foot uhaul with an appliance dolly from uhaul of fort pierce for two days. When you rent the vehicle they send you a confirmation email but it doesnt say any where, what you rented or the price. When I got there I saw a sign that read you can rent the equipment cheaper if its in town so the appliance dolly I had rented would be $10 instead of what it was advertised on line. The guy behind the counter told me he could fix it for me. Then he told me that the price was $146 and when I rented it they quoted me $101( on the website, not the email confirmation). They had me down as renting it for 3 days, having an appliance dolly and furniture pads. He didnt confirm with me what I actually did rent and for how long. I told him I didnt rent furniture pads. He told me he could fix that for me. After about 20 minutes we walked out to the uhaul. He asked me again which dolly I wanted. I told him the appliance dolly. Which shouldnt that have been on the contract which one I wanted? He grabbed the appliance dolly opened the back of the door and when he did I saw there was a utility dolly already there. I told him " oh a dolly comes with it? " he said no and closed the door. So now I have two dollys. I was very confused but left anyways because obviously I rented it to move. When I got home I realized they had left the furniture pads also in the uhaul. When I returned it the guy who checked over my uhaul told me my total was $142. It still didnt add up and I asked him why he tried to explain but I was already frustrated from everything and just said ok. He told me my receipt would be inside. After waiting in line again for about 5 min I got my receipt and I saw I was still charged for the furniture pads, which I did not want or use. When I went inside to speak to someone he told me they dont deal with card issues instore and I would have to call a 1800 number. Super inconvience at a time when I have 100 other things going on with moving. Pay attention to your charges and ask what exactly it says on your statement before paying.

In the past six months, I have rented from this location twice. Each time, there were issues caused on their end, that delayed my moving process. The first time I rented from them, when we went to pick up the truck, they didn't have one for us so they sent us on a wild goose chase to find another truck in town. It caused a significant delay as we drove around town trying to find a truck. All they had to do was call us in advanced and explain that they didn't have a truck and I could have gone elsewhere. Instead, they didn't call, we went to the location, we spent several minutes waiting for them to decide that they didn't have the truck we reserved (and paid for). The important part of taking the reservation is keeping the reservation. The next time we rented a truck from this location, the truck they gave us was dirty inside and it looked like the inside of the driver-side door had not ever been wiped down, so we cleaned it when we got it home. It's stressful enough moving one's belongings across country in a big truck, we shouldn't be concerned that the inside of the cab is dirty/sticky/filthy, too. Once we left the premises with the dirty truck and were about 5 miles down the road, they called us and asked us to come back because they forgot to put a TV box into the truck (which I paid for). A total inconvenience, I went back and picked up the TV box and drove home only to find that they had also forgotten to put the moving blankets I rented into the truck. When I tried to call them to straighten things out, I was on hold for nearly 10 minutes before someone answered from a centrally located call center - not the U-Haul where we had done our business. When I did eventually get through to the manager, he was apologetic and brought the moving blankets to us and gave us $50 back. This location has got to run a tighter ship. The devil is in the details, and your track record isn't good. This whole experience was disappointing and frustrating and I'm sure that is not the reputation UHaul wants for its brand.

Had to wait almost an hour to return the equipment. The person who took the equipment was more interested in working with women than working with men in line. He attended others out of line. When I asked why he took others out of line his answer was. He didn’t see me. I was standing almost an hour and he didn’t see me. WOW.

I was severely overcharged. I was to I would pay 29.95 per day and that I would be charged $7 if I used the dolly. I picked up the vehicle at 830am on Thursday and returned it at 530pm on Friday. Somehow this 30 hour ordeal became 3 days on paper. Not only was I overcharged there. I was also charged $21 for the dolly, and 15$ for moving blankets that were never used. The customer service was next to nil. The guy checking me in had no clue how to fix it. So the charges still remain flawed and grossly overdone.

Put a trailer jack on your 6X12, had to go to Wal-Mart and buy one so I didn't have to leave the trailer hooked all the time.

your prices for traveling was too pricey for me and I will never be using your company ever again. Also I tried to call to explain that I will be returning truck a day late and no one answered the phone after I called 5 times, as I was put on hold. Communication phone system is not very good.
