I was trying to use the self serve U-Haul 24/7 to pick up the vehicle with the app. The first vehicle the app told me to find was nowhere to be found and had no instructions on where to look. The other vehicles the app instructed me they were located on the south side of the building, which they were, in the line of newly returned vehicles. This would be fine except the vans were in the middle of 8 other various vehicles that were also recently returned and would require moving the other vehicles to get any of the vans out. I ended up having to go in the store, and stand in line to pick up the van. Don’t get me wrong, the folks at the store were awesome! I really can’t praise enough how friendly and helpful they were, especially at 9am. However, a management system needs to be put in place that gets the vehicles out of the “return” line before its next scheduled self serve reservation is expected to arrive. Lots of vehicles were there and I was not the only one that had to go inside to pick up a vehicle that intended to use the self serve option.

Get rid of the guys working 7/17/18. They had horrible attitudes as I was clearly an inconveinence to them as I needed to return a trailer. You need friendly employees and when a customer wants to safely back up a 6x12 trailer into a 7 foot wide spot while having to angle it in because of the crammed yard, yelling is not okay. I kept my cool with the ridiculous employees and got the trailer parked without issue, upon parking the guy basically ripped the trailer off my hitch and then stormed away only to go treat an older couple with pure hostility. This employee does not want to work for your corporation and you would be better off without them. I understand the job can be repetitive and menial but just have a good attitude and the customers will love that and in turn make your job less stressful. I had a great experience with the employee that helped me 7 17 18 in the morning, he was great! Unfortunately I wont be returning to u haul for my future endeavors. I will gladly pay more money elsewhere for the better service.

They changed the pick up time for us 3 different times and then when we got there on that third time, THE UHAUL TRUCK STILL WASNT READY. We waited another 30 minutes for it. We asked if there was anyway we could get a discount because we had to rearrange our whole day around this and they told us no. They were scattered and had no idea what they were doing. It was the most unorganized experience and location I have ever been to. Would not go back and would not recommend to anyone.

This was the second terrible experience I've had at this UHaul store. The staff was extremely rude , disorganized, and uncommunicative. They were poorly trained and repeatedly gave me bad information. I will never go there again. Ever. There are other UHaul stores close by and I highly recommend you use those.

Answer your phone. Don't double charge your customers. Don't charge a $30 cleaning fee when the truck was returned in immaculate condition with the furniture pads folded nicely and fully locked in the cab as required. Refund ALL of your overcharge the first time and don't make me hold for up to 45 minutes four times just to get my original refund. Call your customers when you are messaged by the call center. Four times I was told the General Manager Larry Wostenberg or his supervisor would call me, four times this turned out being a false promise. Hire more staffing. The first time I came to your store their was only one person working the counter. Customers had been waiting for over an hour. I left and came back another day for my supplies that were supposed to be in stock, but a few boxes were not in stock. No order was put together, it was pulled in a rush as soon as I came in the second time. Do better inventory. The question is "What can we do to improve for the next customer?". Try obtaining an ounce of customer service. We will never do business with you again U-Haul of Huntington Hills in Fort Collins. In fact, my extra supplies will be returned to another U-Haul store because I never want to see your store again.

I’ve rented from them numerous times. Every single staff member is extremely nice and helpful. My only suggestion is that on high volume days, like Saturday’s they have extra help. Sometimes I’ve been in line 30 minutes. I’ve witnessed people leaving and refusing to wait.

Kevin was a total dickhead, I was quoted the wrong vehicle online and only found out at the store that I had to rent the more expensive truck. The trailer lights quit working halfway through the move. All the staff were very unprofessional looking. It seemed like no one cared about presentation. And kevin doesnt even know the first thing about hooking up a trailer.

Larry Wostenberg is an exceptionally good manager. A suggestion - dump the policy that does not allow a customer to rent a large truck two consecutive days during a holiday, it makes no sense and is extremely inconvenient and frustrating to your customers, it only puts a bad experience in their memory which will result in people talking bad about your business (costing you business in the future) - unless of course you have a store manager who helps resolve the issue and realizes the customer is more important than anything else related to your business.

My experience in renting the trailer on site was very positive and Jay was very helpful in finding an available trailer for me to use. I picked up the trailer in the afternoon of 7/3 at 1:51pm and agreed to return it by 8pm the same day. Jay provided instructions on how to leave the trailer since it would be after hours when I returned it. I dropped off the trailer at 7:30 pm that same day, however my final receipt incorrectly indicated that I returned the trailer at 3:51pm the following day, charging me for an additional rental day. I’m upset that I was double charged when I followed the instructions provided and returned the equipment on time. While I’m in the process of getting the overcharged reversed, I’m annoyed that I have to deal with this to make sure I get my money back. If there was something else I was supposed to do to ensure my return was recorded on time, I wish someone would have told me. Perhaps better communication around the return with it being after hours could have avoided this hassle.

Not enough clerks to hp customers made for a long wait time

When I called for information I was put on hold for over 10 minutes. Apparently, the call was forwarded to an out-of-state dispatch. There were NO discount prices and the person on the phone DID NOT listen or understand my needs. She kept offering other rentals, time frames and locations. She said one-way price for a 5x8 trailer was going to be over $160. I reserved the trailer with my credit card and gave her all the information. When I arrived at the pick-up location they had trouble finding my reservation. The U-haul worker made me feel like I was not going to be able to get the trailer even though I spent 30 minutes on the phone with a person at dispatch. The pick-up lot had at least half a dozen of the size of trailers that I needed, They had to take all of my information again and he said it would cost $79. dollars. Then when he tried to charge my credit card it would not go through at that stated amount and he said I would have to pay the $153. plus taxes and fees! This entire experience took a significant amount of time and I should have only been charged the $79. as quoted by the worker at the pick-up site in Fort Collins. I will be avoiding U-haul in the future and I will be telling all my family and friends about this terrible substandard experience UNLESS you credit me the $74. dollars that I am owed.

The employees were helpful and kind, but the building itself looked like it was in need of some serious updates. There was a broken electrical box just hanging open on the wall near the side entrance and wires were in disarray all around it. The place resembled someone's unkempt home garage rather than a place of business.
