Workers at Fontana are not very customer oriented. They seemed inconvenienced. They also did not know how to secure my vehicle to the auto transporter. Our truck also smelled of marijuana so badly it alerted K9 units when we were crossing states and we were detained 45 minutes while truck was searched.

We were not able to rent on the planned date and the truck that was given to us did not have a smooth drive. It would not drive more than 55 miles per hour.

There is only one associate at the counter at all times, regardless if you do most of the registration online you still have to wait for other customers to be taken care of it, The employees are courteous, helpful and have great customer service skills but one by himself can only do so much.

Teach your employees courtesy. The gentleman who helped me was extremely rue to me and also to the customer ahead of me. I have never been treated/insulted the way I was by your employee. Although I will continue to patronize U-HAUL I will not deal with that employee ever again.

I notice that drop off gets really pack on the returns. I notice that the staff was focusing on the return more with is good need the equipment to be available. But more helpful staff on the weekends during the drop off, most likely in the morning. Last visit on pick up and drop off I had to wait about 1 hour in line each time.

The truck alignment was next to nothing!! Including we received the truck with ZERO GAS= EMPTY!!!! Was told would reimburse for any gas in the truck. We returned the truck after hours for the day we renters the truck. Spoke with Genesis and she said no problem to return truck after hours and noted the reimbursement of gas and returned after hours. Genesis also said we would have an email receipt for today. We have called all day long and have not received a reply and now the store is closed! We have spoke to 4 different people today and told they were to busy to close out our receipt. And to top it off u haul has now charged us for gas. We have contacted customer service and have been given the wrong number!!! Would appreciate a reputable person to contact us!!!

I need to speak with a supervisor, I took a picture of the gas point when I pick it up and also one when I returned it. Someone stated that the gas was below and that's totally incorrect! I want my refund of $34.00 back in cash ASAP. I will and can provide the pictures that I took as proof. Thanks

I worked for U-haul back in 2004 in Covina, CA. I was 19 at the time. One day a little old lady left her purse at our store. Inside was a collection of credit cards and hundreds of dollars in cash. My coworker wanted to take it all but i stopped him and hid the purse. Hours later she returned. I saw her walking across the lot and met her outside. She was in tears when she saw me holding her purse. She reached inside, gave me $20 and said thank you. It was the most rewarding $20 I ever made. I recently rented a pick up from U-Haul in Fontana (Sierra And Foothill) on 3/12/17. When returning the truck I ended up leaving my cell phone and wallet at the counter. My wallet had 4 credit cards and around $240 cash in it. A little over an hour went by before realizing they were missing. I called U-haul, asked if they found a wallet or cell phone and the young lady said yes its here. I asked her if there was still cash in the wallet and she said yes. Within minutes I returned back to claim my property. I looked inside my wallet and thankfully all my credit cards and every dollar was still there. I reached in my wallet, pulled out $20, gave it the young lady who helped me and said thank you. I don't remember her name but I want to say thank you again.

The vehicle is rented smelled like smoke I was told by the employee that there is nothing that can be done about people smoking in the vehicle. She then went and got a bottle of febreeze and sprayed it in the vehicle. As I drove off I could still smell the smoke. I did not have time to request another vehicle because I had a time frame that needed to be met. When I returned the vehicle the same employee was there. I told her about the smoke in the vehicle and she said absolutely nothing. I am now suffering from a horrible headache and coughing. This was a horrible experience.

The staff was not friendly. Once I enter the facility I was NOT greeted by the two staff members beind the counter. I was the only person in line and it took the u hual staff 15 mins to finally help me. Once I was being the u hual staff was NOT friendly and while he helped me he would pause and look down on his lap as if he was on his phone. I found this rude and bothersome. I would will not do business with this U hual anymore. I would rather drive to Redlands which is 15 mins out of my way to rent a u hual. I will leave this comment on a postive note and say that th3 bathrooms were clean and so was the Building inside and out.
