They were very helpful
I rented a dolly and did not receive one. The side mirrors on the Van were broken and did not stay in place. The driver's seat had hair all over it (looked like pet hair).
It was not explained that my $14 for insurance was by the day not a one time charge like I thought. The agent at the Columbia location was awesome. But no reimbursement for full tank when 5/8 was required.

Had a smooth return experience
Very helpful and professional staffing. Have not rented truck in decades, had to do a two hour move of small amount household goods. This worked out very well. Impressed by fact that you can pick up and drop off and multiple convenient locations.
Well it wouldn't be changing anything at the location but you should definitely look into doing something about the fact that when I had to call in to return my truck I was placed on hold for over 40 minutes Meanwhile I call and talked to a human three separate times all while waiting for a human to check my truck in
We requested a dolly and we did not have it
I regretted renting it due to not checking with A friend to help. When I tried to return it shortly after, I could get no refund. It all worked out the car was picked up and delivered on the car dolly. The lady in charge of Martin declined my refund the man working was helpful. Be sure you can use it before you pay. No refunds.
rental process was very time consuming took me 45 minuets to get checked out and on the road
Their service was great. However, getting through to u-haul was horrible. I was there for an hour because of slow response and trying to get the correct pricing through tablet/internet.
Tried to send us out if there with no turn signal!! Was told we â€œmight have wrong trailer â€œ...??? How are we suppose to know if they don't!!'...Had a blow out on same trailer!... sounds like this trailer should of never left the lot!!! Waited 3 hours for help!! Picked it up with less than half tank of gas then when we returned it on other end with that same amount in it we were called out in it being returned with out a full tank!!! We ran around this area fro yo find drop off location only to be turned away because we were given wrong information on stop off instructions!! When we first contacted uhaul and gave them information on our move we were misguided for truck space and ended up having to rethink and regroup with our move plans .... the day of causing more stress!!.. We had to make arrangements to haul another trailer.. more cost to ya than if the accuracy of our needs Willy's of been determined better!! NEVER AGAIN U HAUL.. oh I forgot to mention the chains were dragging the ground and when I brought it to their attention I was told they are suppose to be that way!.. Really??.. I realize there needs to be slack in them but to drag the pavement for 750 mile trip would cause damage to them and could spark and cause a fire!!! Gahhhhh!! Listen to me people!! Owner was terrible he is one trying to say signal lights would take too long to fix?? When I insisted then they magically fixed it??? He was very unfriendly and not very communicating.. His help was excellent though!!
Lot was small and hard to find
The guy told me to park on the street which I did. Then called and said I was in the wrong spot once I reached my destination causing me to have to drive twice as far thus having to pay more on mileage.
Martins went above and beyond in providing service; the truck was actually inside being warmed up as the outside temperature was 20. Their ease of check out was exceptional as well
I reserved a 10ft truck and it was not available and then I was charged the difference for the upgrade to the larger truck.
Service rep. was poorly trained and confused. Took my drivers license to copy and failed to return it. I discovered I didn't have it when I arrived in Salem IN. I called and he discovered his mistake and said he would mail it to me. I am concerned for I am flying out of town at end of week and will need my license for I.D.
No improvement needed. Keep everything the same
