I rented for W 7th location and 3 minutes before my 7 AM pickup you sent an email with a change to Franklin BLVD location. because of no eqpt at W 7th. That was understandable but should have been MUCH earlier. Jackie gave me a discount which was very nice and helped me accept the disruption as I had to drive clear across town.
Only glitch was the right brake light went out as I began my trip at 5am so was not able to get to uhaul to get bulb replaced.

As I entered the Uhaul store, the clerk at the counter flew past with a customer to go outside. She was outside 5-7 minutes while 3 of us waited. I have been to this Uhaul many times for myself and with my daughter. This same clerk runs around getting into everyone's business instead of letting others do their job. This has never really bothered me until this visit when I could see that she was flustered when she came back into the store. I gave her my name. I had completed everything online but had failed to notice that I was given a substitute smaller trailer that I had reserved. The clerk told me that she was going to give me a different trailer and I responded that I didn't know I had a substitute smaller trailer that probably wouldn't hold what I needed to transport. The clerk replied, â€œDon't get snippy with me. I'm doing you a favor.â€ I was quite taken aback and told her that I wasn't getting snippy with her. Indeed, I was ready to thank her, but didn't really see the point after her comments. While completing whatever she was doing online, the clerk continually apologized to the women behind me as if I was the holdup. I had completed everything online. After one of her apologies, I asked what I could do to expedite the process. She said I was missing my driver's license photo and should have followed the link given online to complete. I had my license ready to hand to her, but she said she bypassed it anyway. So, what was the holdup? In my defense I did try to follow the link to upload my photo but was given an error message. I also checked my Uhaul profile the next day and still could not upload that photo. I am going to try to avoid using Uhaul if I can possibly help it. Your clerk needs to reign in her emotions and just do her job. I used to rent from Springfield Rentals. They are very friendly and helpful. In fact I rented from them on Saturday, 10/11. I should add that the older gentleman who connects/disconnects the trailers is wonderful. His is always friendly and polite.
Crowded parking lot, unclear traffic flow (and unclear which entrance is the correct "front entrance" for customers).

The check in person was fast and friendly! She uphold me on the insurance! I usually don't do that but she was pretty convincing. The gentleman who took my van at check in was also courteous. It is hard to smile through a mask, but I could see his.
Tried to get the equipment at a closer location. Farankland location was where I was sent
I'm mad u haul about the fact that I had to drive 1 hour out my way and back to pick up a trailer even though I scheduled it 10 days in advance at a closer location to my house. So I think I'll go with a different company next time.
Actually have the equipment that is reserved, or maybe do everything in their power to not purposely make the process harder on the customer, or not wreck the customers vehicle
Staff and equipment always exceed expectations.
I was truly disappointed with my overall experience. I was told that I was going to pick up my equipment at another location. I had to readjust my whole schedule because of the fact that you did not have my equipment at the original location. I am a business owner, and it created major problems for my business. If you say you will have the equipment where I intended to pick it up, have it there! I should not have had to deal with this inconvenience.
The no-contact pickup failed; as I live with a person who is medically vulnerable, I was counting on that, and that was pretty distressing. When did get the truck, somehow it had completely different mileage on the paperwork, and that was odd and a little worrisome. I felt like the system somehow bait & switched me, too, because I thought I had a base rate of $19.95 plus mileage, and it ended up being $79.95 plus mileage -- but by that point, I really needed the truck and could not argue, so I just took it. I said I would recommend to a friend, above, because I thought the people were nice and handled things the best they could. But I was not impressed with U-Haul's system.
