This dishonest sorry excuse for a business lied and stated I returned the vehicle with less than 1/4 tank of fuel. It was after hours so I couldn't wait to have the location confirm the total fuel. I can tell you that at 3:30am I had over 1/4 tank of gas and went and added another 8 gallons of fuel to it to get it closer to 1/2 tank. The paperwork stated it had 3/8 of a tank at pickup,, Which it also didn't. It was 1/4 tank but I didn't bother complaining as the office was quite the walk away and I needed to get on the road... No biggie! That is on me.. but the dishonesty of this location as seen on many other customer reviews shows how much of a scam this location is... Charged me $88 for addition fuel on a 26ft truck with 198 miles left on the fuel gauge of a 40 gallon tank. A 26-foot U-Haul truck officially averages 8 to 10 miles per gallon (MPG) according to U-Haul. 40 gallon tank x 10MPG = 400 miles... If the tank on the dash states 198 miles left. That would be closer to 1/2 tank, no??? Not below 1/4 tank.... SELF STORAGE STATION IS A SCAMMER!!! I'm actually local and wanted to rent storage from them too when I got back into town but now I wont give them another penny and I will be sure to let everybody know to NEVER rent from U-Haul or do business with Self Storage Station EVER again!!!! Enjoy my $88.00 scammers!!

alexandria rI dropped off the U-Haul truck and was contacted 8 days later stating I would be charged a fee for never returning the truck. The place never processed my return of the truck but continued to lend it out to people. BAD BUSINESS. I also brought the gas back at a half a tank and they charged me for gas as they said it was nearer to a quarter tank. Something smells over here at this U-Haul. Also when I went to pick up the truck there was no line and I still had to wait 45 minutes as the woman didn’t know how to use the system and was trying to figure it out. I’m not usually this customer but this entire experience was bad business and safe to say I won’t be returning to U-Haul for any business unless something changes…

Robert BThe fact that the truck didn't work when we went to pick it up and had to wait 2 hours was absolutely ridiculous. Was not offered any kind of reimbursement nothing.
