I disputed a charge to the full amount that was inaccurate, which that I was charged a dolly cost but a dolly was never provided. I was not contacted regarding the discrepancy and the charge was applied to my credit card the same day.

I had to drive to Edmonton to pick up a uhaul to move to Edmonton, a 5 hour drive each way. The uhaul was dirty inside and outside, the windshield was so dirty I could barely see through it and there was pet fur all over the inside, disgusting. I'm not sure why uhaul would even ask for comments to improve service for for their next customer because they didn't care about this customer. Terrible service
Don't waste people's time by booking on line as that was a waste of time. I still had to book from scratch when I got to the location. I hope I wasn't charged for the booking that I did on line either! Staff at this location were very friendly and helpful
As a first time customer I found these services were great! Vehicle was clean and ready to go. And the counter person was very helpful, and easy to talk too. Thank you! I will definitely use again!
Check fluid levels regularly there was no windshield washer liquid....tires were worn badly was not good at all for winter driving
First, I rented a 10 ft truck. I received a call the day of th rental telling me I had to drive to another city to get the vehicle. I had no way of doing this. On line it showed the location close me had a truck!! So I was then given a truck 15 ft in a location in the city. I had to hav my husband come with me to drive it. Totally unacceptable. The people that owned this store had trouble filling out the forms for my rental. I had to do part of it on his computer for him so it took over half an hour to get the forms filled out. The vehicle was covered in weeks of snow and he didn't clean it off and he had no snow brush for us to clean it off ourselves. The vehicle was disgusting. It had a super strong smell of cigarettes.As the vehicle warmed up it got worse!! There was a disgusting sour smell, cigarettes and something else. In describable and unbearable. We were travelling after 6pm so it was dark. Then the windshield was sooo dirty that when we had oncoming traffic we were unable to see the road or out the windshield due to the dirt and grime. We drove through freezing rain and the windshield wipers didn't work. We tried to clean the freezing rain and spray from the road off and the wipers didn't even touch the windshield. We had to drive with the wiper fluid blocking our view until the wind blew it out of our view!! My husband tried to set his cell phone in a compartment in the dash and it was full of something gross and grease like. The ash tray was full of cigarette butts. We had to take our clothes off and hang them to air them out.... our whole hotel room stunk from our clothes. We had no option but to get the move done and deal with this vehicle. We even took and Uber to supper so we could wear proper clothes and not stink! I expect some kind of response and reimbursement for this rental. I am very upset. We feel terrible for the nice employees at the Saskatoon drop off location. If they have to clean that vehicle that is disgusting and not their responsibility.
The front tires needed air and the emergency brake light was on even after I was certain the brake had been released.
The Truck share online pick up was not good. Then We had to call U-Haul and it took 2 transfer calls to get to talk to the right person...We still had to go into the store and show ID and give credit card number. It did hold us back about 1/2 hour. Overall the person in charge was very kind and helped us out.
The truck had not been swept. There were old belongings from the previous renter left in the back. I had to sweep and throw away others garbage.
The tire pressures were low and we had trouble adjusting the mirrors.
Rental process was fast and the vehicle was exactly what I needed.
To start, the the u-haul representative refused to help me pickup the vehicle. The owner of the dollarstore (whom I assume is the uhaul rep) insisted he knows nothing and kept pressuring us to figure everything out online. He even yelled at his wife to shut up while we were waiting. After 45 mins of online detours and sign ups and account management, we ended up on the screen where it showed: please show this screen to uhaul rep to get the key. When i showed this to him he was still adamantly fixed on the fact that he doesn't know anything and usually people just get a code to the lockbox and doesn't go through him, and any questions i had the owner kept saying â€œjust call the uhaul numberâ€. At this point we were 50 mins past our time when we were supposed to get the vehicle. I couldn't get a hold of any representatives because it was Saturday, so I had to hold my ground and threaten to call the police for fraud before the owner finally decided to come with us to the back of the store where he opened the lockbox with his key and retrieved the car key for us. One hour past the time we reserved to pickup we get into the most disgusting smelly van that had a distinct odour of dead animals. And to end this magnificent trip u-haul decided to charge me an extra 25$ for cleaning fees? Would not recommend to anyone using this location. Ive been using uhaul consistently over the past 5 years and it lowers the reputation of uhaul and discourages people from using this service ever again. WILL NOT BE RETURNING
I don't even have words for the experience with I had with U-Haul. I will never recommend it to a friend or even an enemy. I have booked help for the move and had to cancel them last minute because I didn't get a working truck until 6 and a half hours later. You basically need better customer services and actually reputable locations and roadside service in order to make me even think about consider using U-Haul again.
The man inside the store said we needed the code to get the keys. I was remotely trying to get the truck and the person on chat said they didn't have a code and the man inside was supposed to give me the keys. The guy in charge of the uhaul wasn't there when I went to pick it up. It took over 1 hour to get the keys. Huge lack of communication between live chat and the location.
