I did have a difficult time with the return. I returned it after hours & was unaware I had to check in on the UHaul website. Well I dropped the key in the drop/lock box by the time I realized what I needed to do. Yes if I would have stopped to thoroughly read my paperwork I would have known this but with it being moving day I did not have time to stop & read stuff. I wish the location would have told me exactly the steps if I was returning after hours. All I was told was just drop the keys in the drop/lock box. I did take a picture of the odometer for my own records but I was not able to upload that photo, you can't upload photos on the website, you have to take a picture from the website. I wish this would change. Because I didn't do everything correctly I was concerned with being charged for returning it late. I called UHaul customer service & after 20 minutes of holding for someone to pick up, they put a note on my reservation that I did return it on time. I was thankful for that.
This customer service rep did not go over the damages with us before we left. The following was not noted with an "X": license plate light dented, left front reflector broken, left fender bent up, back left fender had black dirt/tar on it, door latch on right side was missing. These items had an "X" noted for dents on the front left corner and the right fender was bent up. This trailer had a lot of wear/scuffs on the inside walls and the outside was filthy dirty. It was not mentioned that the left tire had a bulge in it either. I noticed that this trailer was returned by another party while we were waiting for our trailer; and then we end up getting that trailer that was not checked in properly. We called U-haul to get a new tire and we were delayed in our travels for 3 hours. That is not a timely manner to get back on the road.

I had terrible phone reception in the parking lot and was not able to use the 24/7 app properly as I have in other rentals. The truck cab doors would not close properly and only one fully closed when slammed extremely hard. The truck's steering felt very loose so driving was nerve wracking. It was also very loud because of the doors.

Truck needed brake lights, blinker light and windshield wippers replaced. Also got a flat tire when the truck was filled. They replaced/fixed everything before we left. No problems on the road.
No comments. My expectations were exceeded
The original rental location didn't have the furniture pads we reserved. Luckily, Rhode's was close by. I called ahead to check if they had extras, and they had the furniture pads out and by the desk before we even got there to pick them up. They kept the move on schedule. A great and very prepared spot!!

We ended up with a nail in one of the tires, but cannot verify it was there when we picked up the trailer in East Troy.
Returned it there on Sunday when nobody was there. So really can't comment on people or place.

I reserve the truck weeks in advance to look location 2 blocks from where I needed it I thought that would be plenty of time for them to get a truck there. Instead a had to drive to a location to pick up truck

Uhaul site was not working at Rhodes when I picked up my trailer so it cost me an extra day because I couldn't self checkOut myself . If so I would of saved a whole day rental. So Uhaul's online services cost me $40 for the extra day.
They were nor friendly and she bent our bank card almost to the point of breaking.
The truck had a bad battery or problem with the electrical system. Had to jump it to start off the day. Put me a half hour behind schedule. Then after loading it, the truck was dead again. Had to jump start it using my own vehicle. Took another half hour...this vehicle should have been inspected prior to renting it out. Office staff were very friendly and helpful.
The place I usually use is a mile or so from my house, but they were at their capacity on how many trailers they could have. I had to drive 18 miles to the next dealer. When I dropped after hours the cell service was poor. It let me go through the check-in process till I had to take the picture. It wouldnt let me do it. After a hour I gave up...However I did call the 800 number in the morning and they confirmed the check in at that time.
