The place I usually use is a mile or so from my house, but they were at their capacity on how many trailers they could have. I had to drive 18 miles to the next dealer. When I dropped after hours the cell service was poor. It let me go through the check-in process till I had to take the picture. It wouldnt let me do it. After a hour I gave up...However I did call the 800 number in the morning and they confirmed the check in at that time.

From making the reservation to picking up to the drop off everything was smooth as butter. Chrissy was excellent and very helpful and knowledgeable. A plus would recommend to anyone and will rent again from this location.

It is very unfortunate that I made a reservation for a specific size truck at a specific location 3 weeks in advance of my move date & I got a call 2 days before my move date that the truck size I wanted at the location I wanted was not available. I would have had to go to a location further away. Keep in mind you guys charge us for mileage. If the size truck I want is not going to be available at the location I want, then that should be told to me when I originally make my reservation. You guys would have everything in your system telling you if it's available or not. But NO, you just take the reservation knowing full well the size truck I wanted wasn't available at the location I wanted. Instead if I wanted a bigger truck I could have gotten it but I would have had to go to a location further away to get it AND pay the charge for mileage. Yeah, no thanks. You should not charge your customers the added mileage if you do not have the size truck available at the location they request. It's very simple, don't take the reservation then for that location OR you pay the difference in mileage OR as a business practice find the right size truck & have it brought to the location requested. How will I know the next time I make a reservation if the truck I want will be available at the location I want? I won't until 2 days in advance. I'm not the only one this has happened to. This is a poor business practice if you ask me.

I received a voicemail from a Brian a couple days ahead of my scheduled pickup asking if I could change the pick up to the night before and drop off before 11am the next day. Since it was on my way, I stopped at the pick up location to discuss this and the very nice cashiers informed me A-no Brian worked there and I was not the only person to receive sick a message and B- I was still good for the original schedule. I decided to Google the number the call came from and it wasn't registered to a business but an unknown personal cell. Everything went smoothly and was met with courtesy by the Rhodes staff. Unfortunately I believe u-haul has a scammer on its records and I hope others follow the same procedure I did, go in person just to be safe and don't call back. Other than that I was happy with the prices, process, and overall experience.

Don’t charge me for extra miles when you change my requested pick up and drop off locations to ones that combined added over 20 miles of extra driving. It’s bad enough I need to incur the gas cost and additional drive time to relocate your truck fleet. I shouldn’t have to invite e yes mileage fees as well.

Would have been nice to have received a courtesy call from drop off location that all was well. But, I did call early the next day (a Monday am) so they may have been going to call or email me later. Just recommend that be part of your protocol if it is not already. Thank you for a smooth process. I commend each person who helped us for excellent, thoughtful service.

I know most people renting a UHAUL can read but it is not everyday I use a giant truck and just a little info on important features would have been helpful.

We requested and paid for a Utility Dolly with the order, but one was not included in the truck. With the remote pick up there was nobody to provide guidance. The process of validation is nice, but long. Overall it worked well for our needs.

The trailers were parked a bit close to each other making it challenging to exit the parking lot.

Tow dolly had a light taped in, webbing was frayed almost broken that holds tire , ramp securing pin was busted ramp just fell out driving , time for a new unit or time to retire that one should have to use a unsafe product

Ensure the customer actually has a vehicle to pick up at the location. We had to travel 40 miles there and back. Initially we had a confirmation to pickup in town, then we received a call and were sent to a location 30 miles away. There, we were told we had to drive another 10 as our vehicle was not there either.

I liked that I could drop the trailer off in front of the store since there wasn’t much room to navigate the parking area with a truck and trailer!

DONT use them ever they charge too much and have terrible customer service and they hold your money for WAY longer than they claim to and also Make false claims about refunds being sent to bank accounts. My advice is RUN
