The truck we rented was infested with ants. Just horrible bit my husband and son all up. Despite that horrible ordeal with the ants the staff is wonderful. Always happy and smiling. Horrible horrible equipment but awesome staff members!!

My truck was ready early and sitting there without my being informed it was mine to take away. I spent an unecessary 10 or 15 minutes before a fellow in passing just happened to ask and told me it was my truck, purely by happenstance. That piece needs to be tightened up.

Holly Greene was awesome. Other than her, the other counter employees are a complete waste of payroll dollars. I walked in to see two employees behind counter. One was helping another customer, the other was talking on her phone in speaker mode so the entire store could hear the conversation. She hung up shortly after I walked up to her "spot" and NEVER even glanced at me. The other one finished with her customer and then started talking to the first, then walked away. Holly came around the corner then and took care of me. She gets 5 stars. The others get 0. That averages to the overall 2 star rating. Finally, Holly told me my truck was the one in the lot facing the road. I went out and saw two such trucks. I asked the man that moved it around, which was mine? He threw his hand up in the air, waved it around, and said "that one." I figured it out by checking the odometer against my paperwork. Some days we sure miss Ryder Truck rental.

I was over-charged. I returned the truck with the gas meter where it was when I picked it up, however I was charged an additional $33 for gas after the truck was delivered. Not satisfied!

My appointment was for a 9 am pickup. Didn't take delivery until 9: 40. During delivery I advised Jimmy the contract stated the tank was full but the gage was not on full, it was slightly before the fill like. Jimmy insisted it was full. While refueling the tank, it required nearly 9 gallons of fuel. Which was 3 times the amount based on the mileage used. When I returned, I explained the same to the tech who checked in the truck, he acted as if he was mute, only shaking his head. I entered the building in hopes of speaking to someone who was willing to assist. Jimmy walked in and I immediately asked for a supervisor, he responded, "that's me what can I help you with?" I explained the above, he said we can't reimburse fuel if you put more than you used. I reminded him of the conversation him and I had before leaving the lot. Jimmy became defensive and sarcastic. He said "What do you want? Me to give you some money back?" Then he refused to deal with me stating "You can deal with Holly the manager because I don't like you raising your voice. Now leave before I call the Cops" After calling the contacts on the business card, I reached out to corporate and learned Jimmy wasn't a supervisor he was a customer service associate. I can understand less than perfect customer service. Everyone has a bad day. What I can't except is being lied to, being talked down to with sarcasm, and then words put in mouth. This associate had just a much opportunity to apologize, and have his manger follow up with. Instead he chose to lie and throw me out of the store.

When we got the truck to the house and loaded it and started to leave the oil light came on, we ended up having to put 5 quarts of oil in before we even got started and the 6 hour trip ended up being 9 1/2 hours because we had to keep stopping to check the oil and fix the passenger side mirror because it was loose and kept moving to where you couldn't see out if it to change lanes, the windshield was filthy and the floor in the cab was dirty and sticky. All of this put us behind getting to our destination and unloading so we had to turn it in late. To put it nicely, this truck was a POS and if uhaul can not do better with their trucks then i will go to the competition next time. I have always used uhaul but this experience was very bad.

The truck was used by a smoker, my wife has allergies so that made our trip to Macon GA difficult. Great service from Mr. James at the location and all other staff. The turn was really easy and we think that was the best part of our experience. Keep up the good work!!! Lorenza James

horrible experience that just wont end! I have been on the phone trying to reach a CS rep for hours and days! CS during, and after rental is non-existent! If you have any issues or problems, be prepared to dedicate hours out of your life on this. They will hang up on you or you will be transferred repeatedly. Worst experience ever!!! They are running a scam with their bogus charges once they get your credit card information. They need to be investigated for this practice. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

My experience with UHaul was not good at all and I would like someone from UHaul to contact me so I can explain. Locations and Trucks were great thought! UHaul as a whole was a horrible experience. There was no coordination and support was not good.

Wire was improperly attached for trailer! It was wound around the hitch. This caused it to be pinched shorting out all the trailer and rear lights on my vehicle! Thankfully, I realized this before anything serious happened . I pulled off at the nearest exit and had the wire repaired free of charge by really grea gentleman at a U-Haul center that just happened to be RIGHT THERE and open till 11 pm. Thankfully no damage was done and he saved our entire trip!
