I made a reservation over the phone. I was told to come at pick the truck up. I went there with in 10 mns. When i got there , i was told my resevation was not for 5 more hrs and they did not have the truck size i needed. That was very unfair to me as i had wasted my time coming up to pick up truck that was not their. Then i was offered the smallest truck they had. This was some bullshit!!!!!! I had to take truck and make more trips which costed more money!!!! Their a scam!!!!

I felt very uncomfortable because there were so many people in the building ( non costumers) standing around, next I’m told there was a quarter tank , I get in and drive a couple blocks.. gas low fuel came on so I had to go back to get that handled, next problem I go to return the van.. the lady tells me I drove 80 miles when I’m fact it was like 30, I navigated so I know.. plus I took a picture of mileage before pulling of, I never thought nor was told to check on the paper before I left with van. She took some miles off luckily I took the dang picture but I still paid for 46 mike and didn’t drive that far... I would not recommend this location or any other

My experience at the Michigan & Middlebelt location in Detroit, MI was unpleasant. I was put in a category, and was told you all just try to beat the system. I will never visit that locate, nor refer anyone to it!

Why make us pay to fill the gas BK up before we bring uhaul then charge us damn near a dollar for each Mile we use makes no sense.

The truck that was reserved was not available at the time of pick up and no other trucks were available. I was headed out of town and needed to move just a washer and dryer before I left. This caused me to become very agitated and upset. The rep that I spoke to that day, Ashley, was very understanding and accommodating. I was able to get something off of the lot that was bigger but for the same price as the one I reserved due to another customers cancellation. I left feeling whole and satisfied. The return day was a little more challenging. It seems as if the manager, Anthony was not pleased about Ashley's decision. Don't know is he is having a bad day but I thank Ashley for her excellent customer service skills and the empathy she showed. I was ready to eliminate U-Haul as an option but thanks to Ashley, I will remain a customer.

Ashley Britt was very rude and lazy. Added Insurance without asking me then tells me you will you will get into an accident if u don't get it. Then I tried to say I only need the 10 footer she said it's to late and got stuck with the 17 footers because she waa to lazy to change it!

The service was mostly incorrect. And many customers such as I booked reservations then found later that their truck was already booked. Now me and many customers are upset because of bad servicing. The 1800 UHaul contact number representative gave alot of people unsatisfied services. Therefore im sending this message so it can be immediately fixed. Thank you Sincerely, John Wheeler

I did not opt for safe move. I was initially given an incorrect receipt and was told the issue would be corrected. Final receipt still has the safe move charge on it!

The back of the uhaul I rented was very filthy. I had to drive all the way back to the location to insist they clean it out. Smelled like bad meat
