I recently rented a van from The Stop and Fuel Location on Bay Shore Road in Deer Park, NY and wanted to share my experience for your consideration. 1. Van Condition and Cleanliness: The van was clean and in like-new condition, which was excellent. 2. Customer Service: The pick-up process could have been smoother. The U-Haul mobile app and the gas station attendant were not very helpful, leading to delays and the need for the manager's assistance. 3. Communication: Instructions through the app were ineffective, and the app itself did not facilitate a smooth pick-up process. 4. Fuel Level: The fuel level was 5/8, which was more than sufficient for my needs. 5. Mechanical Issues: Fortunately, there were no issues with the van during the rental period. 6. Pricing: The pricing was reasonable, and I have no complaints in this regard. 7. Return Process: The return process was marred by issues with the mobile app again. The gas station manager was unhelpful, and I had to resort to the U-Haul web page on my mobile phone for the return, which was a bit cumbersome. 8. Mobile App/Website: The mobile app needs improvement to ensure a smoother rental and return experience. 9. Additional Fees: No surprising or unexpected fees were encountered, which was appreciated. 10. Recommendation: I would not recommend U-Haul without warning others about the issues with the mobile app. I hope this feedback proves helpful in enhancing the overall customer experience. The process to get the keys with mobile device option was lengthy. I did it prior but had to re input info and license pictures. Only there's issues in U-Haul app, I was on correct location and the app say not the correct location, and some more error. Then I called U-Haul customer support, to complete the process.U-Haul needs to fix the app for customerMUHAMMAD H.
I get over charged because l supposed not put gas l put $10 little over 2 gallons and l just drive under 8 milesalphonse L.
My reservation included moving pads. These pads were not in the truck when I picked it up. I was still charged for them and charged even more for not returning the pads that I never received in the first place. Wonderful scam to â€œpadâ€ profits.Robert B.
