I was quoted $39.99 for a one time fee for the rental. I was told that the office would be closed on Monday for the holiday and as long as the truck was back before Tuesday morning it would only be $39.99. When the email came with the bill, I was charged $90.00, for the rental. I made it a point to have the conversation about the fee because I knew what we could afford to pay. As my husband is a ill veteran and I count every penny. Which is why I asked how much more would it be if we kept it more than the 6 hours. The man said it would still be the $39.00. Then he went on to say that he would not be in on Monday because of the holiday. But if I kept it until Tuesday morning it would be another, $39.00. Therefore, I had it back long before Tuesday morning. My family uses Uhaul often and this is our first issue. Had I known you would double my fee after assuring me that it was only $39.00, I would have never ever agreed. We are almost 80 years old and have always worked and paid our own way. But it is not a good feeling to know that we just got beat, by Uhaul. We have a huge family and our offsprings are well over 46 people. They need to not use Uhaul, if this is how business is handled. Don't mislead, the next customer or as I tell my great grandbabies, "Don't lie." If we were working senior citizens, I would not say anything. If I could pay double the price I never would have asked for a senior citizen discount or military discount.

I haul messed up my order twice before they finally got it right! I had to drive fifteen miles out of my way to fix the problem they created which was that they reserved the wrong trailer.

All of the employees of U-Haul that assisted with this move went over and beyond to make it happen. I will use U- Haul again and recommend others to use them.

While the owner of this location was super friendly, we waited almost an hour after the time we were told he would open for him to arrive. The truck was clean, but it leaked when it rained and ruined two cushions to an almost new couch. Very disappointing.

Location in Dayton closed so my rating means nothing. Outside clean and right next to car wash so that was good. Again TRANSMISSION on truck has problems!
