I tried the self check in but it was difficult so I went inside. I like the idea but the truck wasn't in the location and the keys were not in the lock box. I know this is new and will get better.

The agents are friendly but FAR TOO chatty when there are other customers waiting. Agents need to better manage their customers. I waited for 10 minutes while an agent chatted with someone over a move they were planning. The agents were spending too much time joking between one a other during my pick up and my return.

I'm glad I received this survey. I've been wanting to let someone know how great Matthew Barnhill was during my pickup. I had an electrical issue and he went above and beyond to help me resolve it so that I could be on my way. His help was invaluable and I'm thankful that he was there to help me. I'll definitely make this my preferred location for future rentals.

The day I picked up the truck I liked the way the salesman interact with me. I enjoyed is conversation. He was polite and very helpful. When I turned in the truck the salesman was very upstanding. Thanks alot and keep up the great job.

The check engine light was on when I picked up the van with only 2500 miles on it. They said it would be an hour wait to get another van ready so I took that van. I was nervous the whole 400 mile trip!

I had a great experience with the GM. He sold me a ball and the adapter for my lights. He also installed the items and hooked the trailer to my vehicle. There were 3 customers behind me, yet he took his time to insure I was taken care of. When I dropped off my trailer, it was 7:05pm (after closing). The gentleman was not upset, he took me to the gated area, assisted me with parking the trailer, then helped sweep out the trailer (with no additional charge). These two gentleman displayed excellent customer service and I will be sure to recommend this location

When returning the vehicle, there were two people in line ahead of me. There was one person working. After waiting 25 minutes, the person working told us if we were dropping off to just go ahead and leave the vehicle. The location is severely understaffed.

It is extremely frustrating booking with U-Haul the vast majority of the time. The last two times that I have booked with U-Haul, I have had the location or the type of truck I ordered changed on the day of the pickup. This time, it was the location. Even though there were several locations closer to me than the Salem Avenue store, I was told two hours before the pickup that I could only get the truck if I went to this location which was about half-an-hour out of the way. I appreciated being able to still drop the truck off at my desired store, but the inflexibility and late notice on the pickup was extremely frustrating. It seems to me that it would be very easy to only offer locations that will actually have the truck available at the time of order, rather than deceptively representing that a location is available, only to change that location at the last minute. Had I known that I would need to travel 30 minutes out of the way to pick up the truck, I would have gone with another company. And based on the way U-Haul conducts business, I expect to go with another company for my future moving needs.
