We had a great experience with uhaul. No waiting. Everything was ready to go. Employee was extremely helpful and courteous! Would definitely use them again.
My truck and trailer were canceled less than 24 hours before I was going to pick it up and I had to drive 100 miles round trip to pick up this truck.
Fix the emergency brake and release on the truck I used. It has been a bit mangled, and I didn't know about it. The U-Haul place I rented from said U-Haul was supposed to fix it but doesn't find it a pressing enough issue to do so.
Everything was terrible. I am going to dispute it.
Problem is with uhaul, reserved truck 30 days in advance and nothing was available on that day, needed to wait an additional day only received notice of problem at 6pm day prior. if you have a reservation it should be guaranteed.
They will NOT be upfront about the charges because they know there are better options. Look elsewhere.
Attendant was professional and pleasant, unfortunately the location is small and parking is non existent.
The gentleman who checked me in was very busy, but still made time to personalize the experience. I felt like he communicate information effectively and professionally. I would recommend this venue to others.
The staff, especially Francisco, were very helpful. The van was relatively new and easy to drive. Seats could have been a little cleaner, but I am not sure staff could do much about it. Ample parking when I returned the van. Overall, a great experience.
The van need oil change . Driver seatbelt sensor need to check because sometime yellow seatbelt Light Blinking on the dashboard . These are what I see and observe. Other than this van is fuel efficiency . I like it with great customer service.
I drove a total of 6 miles. I added .75 gallons of fuel. The company charged me over $7 for fuel charges. I think that this location is inherently dishonest.
Get more help he did not want to take the trailer at that location not good

Equipment was rented out to us dirty, and when we returned it, we were charged for a cleaning fee.
Great customer service. Very helpful. Had the truck ready on time and gave me good tips for driving the big truck. Appreciate their help.
1. Rental rate error: I had reserved a 9' van at another location (Woodland) and was told 3 hours before my reservation that it was no longer available. I was told that the earliest Uhaul I could get was a 10' truck at this Davis location, but at the 9' van rate for mileage and rental. Despite explaining all this, I was initially still charged the 10' truck rate at this location. I had to stay on the phone for 30 minutes to talk to a series of Uhaul representatives to change the rate back to the promised 9' van rate, which made a big difference given the distance I had to cover. 2. After hours return: Customers should be informed about the steps to return the vehicle after hours (location check, multiple photos, mileage check etc) before they take off with the vehicle, either in person or via email. The number of things I had to do to return the truck after hours caught me off guard. 3. General comment: The rental process is not streamlined at all and I hope Uhaul executives try renting their trucks every once in a while to see how bad it is.
I dropped off after hours. The app made it easy.
The van was almost new and except for a small amount of dirt on the floor of the interior it was clean. When starting up the van there was a warning about an oil change needing to be done and after the van was on it said it was needed immediately. We had to go to the counter to ask about it and were reassured it was okay to drive. This step as well as the process of using an app to complete the rental process ate into the four hours we had reserved the truck. I appreciated that the agent allowed us extra time without a charge since this part took longer.
The person that put my pads in the back of the truck insisted that he provided me with 60 and when I got home and counted them there was 54.
I found both staff members to be exceptionally helpful.
The truck ran well and was more comfortable to drive than my motorhome. The only suggestion I would make is to have the interior and exterior of the windshield cleaned. The truck I rented had a filthy windshield, inside and out.
The online check-in was awful. I thought I was ready to go touchless and it asked me to take a picture of my passport or lease ... After I arrived at the location. Why would I have those with me??? The other option was to list an alt contact. I couldn't list my wife because she was on the reservation. We were the only ones doing the move so who am I supposed to list? I ended up having the attendant cancel the previous reservation and start over with him. Just to check in. So much for simplifying during covid. The worker in person was great and helped me out, the company is bad and only got my business because there's no other real options.
Rep was selective about whom he let into office. Same treatment should apply to all customers.
The two gentlemen who helped us were so friendly and organized! The man who mostly helped us made sure we had everything we needed, checked the truck with us to make sure all previous scratches were accounted for, showed us the need to knows inside the cab, and in general were nice to talk to. I wish I remembered their names! I think one was Azish? Not confident on that though, something with an "A".
