Customer service very, very slow. Little acknowledgement of customer. Seemed like other people's issues were taking forever to work through. After turned in vehicle, never got confirmation of my return nor my receipt e-mailed to me as promised. The equipment, a cargo van, was great -- very good condition and smooth ride and very good on the gas.

The U-Hual truck I reserved in advance online was not ready when I went to pick it up. They had already cashed me out (in store) when they realized the truck battery was dead. I had to come back the next day! They promised a discount as a result but their location has yet to refund any discount to me.

I did find some evidence of rat poop in my storage unit and reported it to the employees. I wish that I could have been issued a refund for the time left on my rental as I emptied the unit on Oct. 13, 2 1/2 weeks before the end of the month. The employees were very polite and helpful.

Rented a 17 ft but got 15 ft... Truck was on “E” when got it... Was called and told to keep uhaul til next day due to flooding and possibly closing early.... verified that with a 2nd person and was still charged an extra day... Horrible service

Everyone at the Riverside location was great. I originally booked at the Airpark Storage and when I got there I was told no trucks are even there. They called and sent me 6 more miles out of my way. I didn't get any email or text updates saying there were any changes. Thanks again to the Riverside folks.

The 26 foot truck J H 1552B , the check engine light came on before I got to my house. When I called about it I was told to bring it back and get another truck , or they would cut the light out. It was time for the movers to be at my house, I was told the truck could be driven because it had been checked out. I then decided I needed to check it over myself. Both front tires had no tread left on the inside of the tires, they were bald, the alignment was not correct and had not been correct for a long time. It was hard to drive because I had to constantly work the steering wheel to keep the truck in my lane. I did not drive the speed limit because I was a concerned that a tire might blowout. Charles W. I was overcharged and it’s under investigation. I live in a small town and made two trips. Each trip is a eight minute drive. The young man charged me a fee at 100 miles. I moved from SC in June to VA and it was less than a in town move. EXTREMELY UPSET !!!!!

You have to refill the gas tank, that’s fine. Except after you put 30 of gas in the hand never moves. So you put another 30 and it still doesn’t move. So you get copies of both receipts and take the truck back. You explain what happened and how you’d like a refund on one of the receipts. They say nothing they can do about it thanks for the extra gas. This was my second bad experience with uhaul. I’d be better off buying my own truck.

Made reservation online and it was wrong. I wanted a 26 ft truck that was reserved of course they did not have it. I ended up spending extra on miles because I needed to take an extra trip to move all my furniture and storage reservation was wrong as well.

The gas was not as listed on the contract. The truck was badly ruffled up. The passenger side mirror was busted, making it had to back into a tight spot. Other than that it's always a good service. As long as you don't return it to a slurpee station. Always use a credit or debit card. They never want to give the deposit back in cash. Especially the in and out #2 in Louisburgh, NC. Very disrespectful uhaul contractors.

Provide a better location for your business. The location is too small to accommodate the trucks and trailers. Parking spaces are at a premium. Staff and equipment were excellent, but the site is too small to accommodate the business.

I rented a truck and auto transport online from the riverside Danville. I received a call the day of the rental saying the closest location with an auto transport was 40 mins away. After picking up the truck in Danville, which had half a tank of gas, I drove to get the trailer where I learned there was an additional charge for not returning the trailer to the same location. In the end the rental ended up costing twice what I was quoted due to additional mileage to drive to the trailer and returning the trailer to a different location. Absolutely terrible service. Why is it even possible to rent equipment that isn’t available at a location? Employees have no sense of urgency or professionalism and rely on customers to complete their jobs. I dropped off the truck w/ trailer in the designated location and was instructed to reposition(three times), park the trailer, unhitch the trailer, and park the truck along the roadside. What’s the point in having a lot runner if customers do it for them? I also had to ask the lot runner if there’s a drop off check out because even though she saw me arrive, reposition the vehicle, and park the trailer for her, she couldn’t be bothered to check the equipment in until I asked 10 mins later. I HAD TO SHOW AN EMPLOYEE HOW TO PARK AND UNHOOK HER OWN EQUIPMENT DURING DROP OFF. Absolutely terrible experience.

It was raining while driving the driver windshield wiper fell apart, had to stop and have someone snap I back In place and then was charged a cleaning fee. The agent never did a walk around due to working alone and having other customers.

The truck wasn't pulled out for me and we didn't check the truck before I pulled off. I had to return to the store 2 hrs later because the truck wouldn't pull hills and made an awful noise as it tried to change gears. Turns out it was out of oil. The tech put in 4 quarts. I didn't have any more problems but I was afraid the truck would break down

This is a very busy place and both times I went they were way under staffed to help everyone. The second time there was just one girl (who was new) by herself on a Saturday with people needing to rent and be checked in. Took a long time.

The vehicle was clean but the doors didn't work and no attempt was made at repairs, discounting for inconvenience or apology. I will consider driving further for another rental.
