I've rented from alot of different places and my one pet peeve is that the gas tank is no full when picking up the truck.IT SHOULD ALWAYS BE FULL! this way the customer never has to think how much gas do i need to put in

The question should be, “would you recommend U-Haul to a friend”, and the answer is no. I will not use U-Haul again. They need to hire more humans to be available at the locations for customer service/assistance. Customers must check out, do walk around w app photos, check-in vehicles, take multiple photos of the mileage, fuel level, exterior, interior, etc. Uhaul rental has NO significant LIVE customer service, therefor no difference w bandago.com, Turo.com, Hyer.com, goshare.com. etc. Uhaul has pushed all their service off on the client, and is no more than a self-serve rental co w weak tech support. I would pay more for customer service vs self service. Bye.

Unlock the Truck. Engine in very poor condition. So dangerous the revolving gate in the back. Very complicated when the Truck is returning to the Garage. Process so long!

The cargo area was clean which is good. But the cabin was not clean. Wipers were bad, hard to see the road while raining, even mist. Biggest complaint is the vehicle is empty on gas (6 miles to empty). This is NOT acceptable. I picked up the vehicle in peak hours and 2 of the 3 gas stations are on the opposite side of my traffic. With the big vehicle I cannot do a u turn on small roads. Only gas station that was on my traffic had issues and everyone returned without getting any gas. Hardly made it to gas station with 1 mile to empty. Wasted 2 hours in this while my movers waiting in my place.

I used this vehicle to move a dirt bike and go get one from my cousins house to drop off at my new place and the vehicle broke down on me and I still haven't received the rest of the cash deposit I gave more have they called me back like they said they would either I've use u haul before and never had an issue like this

The after-hours drop off process is terrible! I had to sit in a bad part of town for 30 minutes taking pictures, verifying location, etc. I used Uhaul before this process was begun and it seems like the company decided to just put all the work on the customer instead of its paid employees. I could barely get any bars where I was; what would’ve happened if I’d been unable to get any service? I’d have to take the truck home and pay for dozens of extra miles?? Please consider returning to a paper system - or at least a paper option!

This rating is about my overall experience with U-Haul, not just this location. I booked my rental at the NW Hwy location, but when I arrived, they told me I had to go to a different location three miles away. I was in a bit of a time crunch, so this set me back. When I arrived at the Harry Hines location, no one was there. About five minutes later, the worker showed up and walked me through everything. When I came to return the vehicle, again, no one was at the office (I think the worker was somewhere on the grounds, but I could not find him). I tried to do the return online, but the website kept asking me to create an account. I created an account three times, but it kept sending me back to the same page. I also tried calling several times, but no one answered. Finally i just left the keys in the box and left. Overall just very unprofessional for how much I spent on a two hour rental.

found them online and had a truck reserved in 15 minutes. the guy at the counter was friendly and efficient, got me out the door in 5 minutes. everything worked fine, reasonable price, no complaints.

It was inconvenient to add additional information on the app while checking the vehicle out. I would have preferred to take selfies and pictures of my driver's license in advance and be able to provide a secondary ID such as a passport (which you asked for and no one casually carries around) . It was 28 degrees and tapping around on myphone when I had movers to meet was just annoying. Overall experience was okay,I may just stick with BellHops full service rather than just their labor next time for simplicity.

Two double pending charges on my account. At other locations in the past the hold has been for the higher amount then the amount clears for the corrected amount. This time two separate holds were put on my account neither of which have cleared. When a person is working with limited funds it’s not awesome to have charges you don’t account for
