They were closed. I noticed I got a emailed receipt and the date was 1 day after I dropped it off. Did I get charged an extra day? I dropped it off the 2nd of Sep and called the Texarkana branch after I dropped it off in Conway and made sure they knew it was dropped off - I also put a copy of my contract in the Conway drop box (they were closed). Did I get charged an extra day?

This experience was a NIGHTMARE! I flew in from North Carolina expecting to pick up a 10' truck at the Cypress Street location in North Little Rock. When I arrived there by taxi from the airport, I was informed that they had no vehicle for me, even though I had a confirmation number and there were two 10' trucks sitting on the lot!!! I was further told that those trucks could not go out of state. Somewhere along the line U-Haul forgot that a confirmation number makes the agreement a CONTRACT. It is your job to have me a vehicle, as agreed upon, at that location and ready for pick up. The young lady at the service counter was clearly in over her head and was not prepared to deal with issues. I asked for the phone number of her supervisor and she gave it to me. The guy was a jerk and told me that he personally owned those two trucks and that they were not going out of state. He said there was a truck waiting for me 34 miles away in Conway. I asked who was going to pay for the taxi ride (over $75) and he said "Not me". This guy is an asshole and you should immediately terminate his franchise. He is not good for you. I took the cab ride to the Conway location and picked up a truck there. Service there was good and the lady at the desk compensated me for the cab ride. I will NEVER use U-Haul again for any reason and I plan to put this letter on my website and try to discourage anyone who reads it from using U-Haul.

EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE - HAD AN ISSUE WITH SETTING UP RESERVATIONS THRU U-HAUL WEBSITE BUT THANKS TO FAST RESPONSE FROM HUNTER @ CONWAY U STORAGE THE ISSUE WAS RESOLVED - UPON RETURN OF RENTAL I WAS SHORT ON TIME BUT AGAIN THANKS TO A QUICK YET EFFICIENT CHECK OUT SERVICE I WAS ABLE TO MEET MY DEADLINE!! I WILL MOST DEFINITELY USE THIS RENTAL LOCATION IF NEEDED IN THE FUTURE AND WILL NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICE.

The store at 3715 Prince St, Conway, AR was awful. There are two stores less than 1 mile apart. I drove into 3715 Prince St when I saw it because I think it was the drop-off store. The truck was towing a car and the entry was narrow, so it was extremely difficult to back the truck. The staff did not allow me to drop the dolly there. I asked them to help me unload the car so that I can back the truck and return the dolly to 2824 Prince St, but they did not want to help at all, saying that they were not allowed to touch my car. I ended up backing the truck anyway and caused some damage to my car. The service was terrible.

The service received was exceptional. Kayla, the manager, assisted us in cancelling a cargo van rental & we rented a small truck instead. She is a fantastic "people person" and truly knew the business inside and out. I would like to personally thank Kayla for her awesome service.

I went in for my reserved 15’ truck, after being told the day before, “Oh, so Uhaul overbooked us so would a 9’ van work”, to haul my 10’ table; he ‘allowed’ me to keep the truck, to find out the guy from the previous day still had his stuff in it, at the site. My obvious question, “Do you have a spare key? I’ll help unload it; I need this truck.” No. Uhaul doesn’t give spare keys, because why would that be useful to the third party storage places to make good on their reservations. Ok, option A gone, so I ask, 20 minutes after my pickup time, well can I just get a trailer of equivalent size? I don’t have a truck, so obviously I’m just going to have to find something with a hitch in 10 minutes, and the guy says, ‘Oh, ya, let me check.’ This would have been acceptable if he hadn’t called me two hours before to tell me the guy hadn’t showed up to unload the truck I was supposed to use. Third party side- Find an acceptable avenue for your customers to move their things, especially if you know they require specifications that would be outside of your smaller recources, e.g. a pool table. Uhaul- give your freaking third party venders adequate recources for their, and your, consumers and also give them a freaking spare key to be able to move recources on site to be open to new consumers. Have it in the contract, ‘Hey, we will unload it into the storage unit and this $$ amount will be applied if you don’t unload by the end of your mileage. I’m not going to use Uhaul again, and I’m 26, so they’ve lost out on another 60-70 years of business from me, and I’ll tell my friends the same.

The issues I had were not with the location. My issues involved locating the truck I had reserved. I never received a confirmation call from U-Haul to verify the location of my truck for pickup. Then, the day of, I had to call around to several locations multiple times to find it. It caused me to pick up the truck nearly two hours late. Much later, an it would have effected my MovingHelp.com order.

This was the worse experience I have ever had with u-haul!!!!! The first thing that went wrong was they did not have the 26 ft truck I reserved and had to give me a 20ft. Then only gave me $10 off when I had to make 2 trips to Little from Conway because the truck wasn’t big enough. Then they charged me for two days and I only had the truck for 1 day even after I called and was told I would be refunded. Now it’s a holiday and I have to wait till tomorrow to see what is going on with my refund. I will never use u-haul again!!!! It is Penske from now on.

They were very friendly, but I requested a nice truck that could pull my car since I would be traveling 7 hours. I received the total opposite. The U-Haul was disgusting!! It had dog saliva foot prints on the windows dog or cat hair all over the U-Haul which caused me to sneeze the whole time!!!

I think U-Haul should reconsider overbooking their trucks, and I also think they should reconsider how they dole out trucks to people. We reserved a 15' truck when there were some available for the date we reserved it. We were told that U-Haul might give away one of those trucks if someone came in after us and reserved a 15' truck for a time before our reservation, meaning that there was no guarantee that we'd receive the truck we reserved. That left me wondering what the point was in making a reservation if U-Haul was just going to give the truck away anyway? I appreciate receiving the 20' truck that was available (after U-Haul gave away the truck we reserved) at the same rate and with a small discount for the inconvenience, but I can't help but think that this part of the business model could seriously mess with someone's moving plans. It's not the fault of the employees' we worked with (Kayla was very helpful), but I don't think this is fair to them, either, because they undoubtedly get some angry customers who want the rental they reserved, not a bigger one. Overall, though, the truck was in good shape, the rental fee wasn't too bad, and we appreciated the patience of the employees.

Please call the customers to confirm pickup location. I had to drive to multiple storage units because no one called to tell me. The lady was extremely rude when I went to the one on 3715 Prince. I just would prefer call.
