I rented a truck yesterday with no problems and returned it yesterday with no problems and then I got a phone call today saying i didn't return the truck or the key after I explained that not only did i return it but i returned it to the same person that rented it to me after I told the guy on the phone that i parked the truck on the side of the building and that the guy told me when i handed him the keys that was all he needed and i was good to go I left. As soon I finished my explanation he said oh I'm sorry I found the keys have a nice day. I would still recommend this place because the guys were nice and got me what i needed but I think they should've looked for the keys a little bit harder before basically accusing me of stealing a truck ðŸ˜® because I am not a thief and don't appreciate being accused of one. So maybe a little more organization techniques should be taught to the staff so they don't lose the keys after a customer returns them and also all they had to do was look up and they would see the big ass truck through the window since I rented the only 26ft truck they had. Otherwise it would've been a perfect visit and experience. Thank you Susan KittlerSUSAN K.

My hitch was stuck. Agent told me if trailer was there next morning he would not charge me. Authorization fell off 2 days later. THREE WEEKS LATER I WAS CHARGED. You know FULL WELL that trailer never left your premises! DISHONEST AND GREEDY!MOLLY M.
I ordered a dolly to go with my truck for my move. The dolly was not in the truck when I was checking and doing mobile checkin. Which this wasn't the problem. The problem was that I called customer service to notify them of this, was on hold for 30 minutes waiting for a representative to be available, then an automated voice came over and said my wait would be an additional 54 minutes and I could state my name for them to call me back. So this is what I did, because by this time I had movers waiting at my house and had to leave the uhaul lot. I got home and immediately go online to chat with customer service to notify them of this missing equipment, he stated the charge would be removed and to not worry about it, which I was relieved, because no one wants to get charged for equipment they never received. Plus I didn't want to be accused of stealing something that wasn't on the truck to begin with. Then 54 minutes came around, I answered the phone and as soon I started telling them my problem with the dolly being missing, they hang up the phone?? THEN on top of having to wait so long to communicate with someone, I go to return the truck and check out, the dolly charge is STILL on my receipt. I just want to say that trying to talk to customer service is like pulling teeth with uhaul!! I was very patient and understanding with covid probably being an issue for short staffing, because I'm an essential worker in this mess too, but this was just ridiculous for my problem to still be going on after not even talking to someone after being on hold for 30 min then waiting an additional hour for a call back.Hanna S.

I was not told that this was a flat rate. So when I dropped it off earlier I did not get a credit for the unused days. I also told them I needed it till Monday not Wednesday. I also had to pick it up on a Saturday because they are closed on SundaysTRACY B.
I will never come to this uhaul or any uhaul place for any reason . They overcharge and make you pay way more than what is used or given. DO NOT GO HERE IT SUCKS!!!!!!TALMADGE H.

I picked up the rental at 8:00 am and the process was NOT easy. I had downloaded the app the night before, but there were several steps and it was a frustrating process. Then I returned the vehicle hours before it was due back but was still charged an extra $20 because I did not check it in on line. NO ONE mentioned that this was a part of the contract. I feel cheated and mislead. The truck I rented also smelled of cigarettes.Susan M.

Thankfully the attendant helped me by allowing me to drop off trailer at this location without a penalty fee due to the fact that my set destination was closed and gate was locked. This attendant saved me from deciding never to use your service again.ROBERT M.

The check engine light came on within the first 15 miles of a 400 mile trip. The windshield had not been cleaned and the inside of the windshield had dog nose prints all over it. All surfaces inside the cab were covered in cigarette ash. Be prepared to clean your rental when you pick it up.AMANDA C.

Put up a sign near Prince St. to allow those dropping off trucks to know where y'all are located. It was kind of hard to know where to park the truck and turn in keys after hours.Tonya F.

We filled the gas tank up to where it was supposed to be returned at right before returning the uhaul. We later received an email saying we had been charged $12 for them to fill it up by 1/8 of a tank. We are frustrated because it was supposed to be 3/8 of a tank but there were no marks between a quarter and a half of a tank so it's purely based on personal opinion. We would have been happy to fill it up another notch and not have been charged the fee if they had checked the uhaul in and communicated with us while still there.Bradley N.
The truck I used was not 'aligned'. It needs an alignment job. It was challenging to drive because the steering wheel was not straight. The ride was VERY rough. More so than it should have been, even with this size truck.MARK R.

I had ordered several dollies to be a part of this order and none of them were in the vehicle.John B.
The system charged me for the cleaning of a truck that I had for two hours. I reported online check out when I picked up the truck that it was dirty and had been smoked in. When returning and filling out the online check in that it needed to be cleaned etc.. the system charged me a cleaning fee. When I went to the location I was told that they told the system not to charge the fee, but it went through anyways. Don't know who's lying, but I had to waste my time and get it fixed. Charging a cleaning fee should not be automatic. The location employees need to inspect and add the fee, not the system doing it automatically. U-Haul is trying to get money and hoping people don't notice. This policy needs to change.Arleta E.

The rental transaction went smoothly. I had to make a last minute change on the same day and they accommodated me without a penalty.
