Everyone was great. I think it would be nice to have one other person on duty for Saturdays at the front desk. I have read on Yelp that this seems to be the only complaint over the years. The lady on duty was good & knowledgeable. Was a good experience & will use this location again.

After having a pleasant one two weeks ago (weekday), Had the worst experience yesterday. When people have plans to move, they need to be able to rely on their equipment provider. Did it online, even "Express Check-in". Didn't matter. When I got there I was informed that I had too wait in line with everybody else. I was in line for one hour, why my help was waiting at the home we were moving. I was very fortunate that they had my trailer though. I had to listen to everyone else's as they got to the one clerk on duty. There stories were much worse. ie. Having ordered a truck, 20 footer, getting confirmation the day before, getting another confirmation the day of, but for only a 15 footer, getting there and getting a pick-up truck. I asked the clerk when I got up there if this normal. She confirmed that it was. (short handed) I will never go there again for a truck and probably not even use them for a trailer.

My reservation was made for Oakley, CA (I have my email confirmation). When I called them on the day of my appt to make sure that my trailer was ready he claimed that he didn't have a reservation. He told me to call Uhual scheduling and they told me that the nearest trailer was 30 miles away. Why wasn't I told this without calling on my own? I had to drive 30 miles in heavy traffic to pick up the trailer. When I got the trailer home the inside was a mess. Empty boxes, a blanket and other trash!!! The trailer is old and in need of major maintenance. The rear door is nearly impossible to latch and one time it did pop open on the freeway and we lost a table. I'm a 6'2" 280lb male and I could barely latch the door each time! Then the sliding door would get stuck when all the way up and I would have to use a hammer to get it freed. The wheels squeak nonstop so I am guessing the bearings are shit. I called Uhual on the day of my return to see if I could return it closer to me and even with all of this stuff mentioned above I was told I could, but I would be charged double. I wasted several hours driving back and forth, cleaning the trailer of the debris and extra gas for such a terrible experience!

I was not properly greeted. The person's attire wasn't easily identifiable as a uhaul customer service person. One plus - They did quickly process my return.

This is the 5th or 6th time I rented Uhaul , and this the 2nd time I noticed the bad how is Uhaul . The pick up truck wasn't clean , it was low on gas means someone just returned it and I saw on the parking there is availability of those trucks , they forced me take that one and the gas level was lower than indicated on the paper they gave me I complained to them but they did nothing , for the future I have to think about something else.

We made two online reservations that were cancelled within the last two days before moving..We ended up having to rent a larger truck then we needed and we were not able to get it until 10:30 am. Making it a long day. Really need to update your web site so people don't think they have something they don't.

Hire more people. This location is seriously understaffed and everyone has an attitude. I was 45 minutes into my rental time before I got my van. There was one woman that was waiting for almost 2 hours before she got her van.

I had to return the truck after I loaded because I was given the wrong truck. Yes, there was help provided but could not finish the load by 5pm which was the closing time for storage space. I felt like I was made to feel it was my fault by the approach taken.

More people to check out vehicles especially during peak times (weekends and first/end of month). Better organized queues and stations. You can’t see if anyone is available at a station and they don’t bother announcing it. Space is too packed with items for sale making it difficult for customers to navigate. Love express online check-in and checkou. This location always has a vehicle available for rent.
