Initially spoke with the owner. The owner, OK? Understand, I don't trailer and move things on a daily basis. Trying to describe what I needed, and asking him questions, he was just short and somewhat unkind to me.I would have imagined that he might be more forgiving to someone who didn't know that the thing was called the 'draw bar'. Am I the only one who doesn't know what this thing is called? I called it 'the thing that you attach the trailer to, but it's not the trailer hitch itself, it's the thing with the ball.' His look was priceless, like I was describing something he had never in his life heard about. But, he responded as if it were MY fault that he didn't know what I was talking about. I guess that's my main beef. That I, the customer, was an inconvenience. That I, the customer, was wrong. So, every one ELSE at the store that I spoke with was good to me. They helped me, and I don't have one single complaint about any of them. The equipment was in good shape. It seemed well maintained. And it did a great job for my needs. I'd say to just keep the owner in his office, where he can't mess up what his employees are doing for him.

I was very pleased with my experience all the way up until the end. I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the location and the vehicle and the quality of the vehicle. However, at the beginning I was told by the service rep that wrote up my contract that if I needed to extend my time or if I got backed up for delayed it was no big deal just to call the store and they will adjust the schecter. he called both of my phone so I have the number to the store in both of my phones, he was very hospitable. so, by almost the end of my time I had about 30 minutes before my time was up and I knew I was going to need more than 30 minutes to finish up so I called the store and spent almost 20 minutes on the phone being transferred between five different people trying to get an extra hour added. I had people threatening to charge me more and I was transferred between customer service and the store and the scheduling manager multiple times, although I remember asking the initially guy that morning if I need more time is that a charge and he said no. I finally I got to somebody in scheduling I assume and got an extra hour that I needed within two minutes of being on the phone with her so it seems to be a simple task to do. I'm not sure why I had so much trouble getting it done. I had one item that was just too large for me to get off the truck and I was waiting for my brother to get here to get it off for me. had I known that it was such a big deal to extend my time I would have knocked on neighbors doors and found some one to help me in the 20 minutes that I spent on the phone and I probably could have returned the truck st s different time. But I finally got the extra time I needed and when I returned the van the rep that helped me out was awesome. So alls well that ends well I guess. In the end I would refer someone here with the warning of you better book the whole day because you will go through hell trying to get the smallest bit of extra time.

Steep curb entrance, makes it very dangerous to get in and out of the parking lot. The trailer was old. We had to go buy wood in order to load our standard 2016 Toyota Camry without damaging the car. The drop off location in Phoenix told us that we should not have had to use that horrible trailer

This location turned a bad experience into a good one. I had a reservation for a pickup truck and dolly to be gotten at the Zimalcrest location but the GM named Richard refused to rent the equipment to me because it was a brand new pickup truck and I was a woman wanting to tow a car with it.. I ended up with a 10ft box truck and a car hauler for the price quoted to me for a pickup truck and tow dolly. EJ and Chris at the 2 Notch road location got me set up and on the road in record time because Richard held me up for a hour and a half on the dispute about the pickup truck. I will never deal with U Haul again if I have to deal with Richard at the Zimalcrest location. Thank you EJ and Chris for being so customer friendly and your efficiency during my time of crisis. You turned a bad situation into a pleasant one.

Next time it needs to be explained properly that when putting a card on hold it will actually charge the card the whole amount. The woman working explained it as it will charge if I do not choose to pay at the other end but I do have the option to pay cash when I pick up. I was charged immediately and therefore had to pay overdraft fees since I had the cash withdrawn to PAY IN CASH. I was also told during my phone call to make my reservation that I would be able to pay with cash. Never once did someone allow me to use cash, I was required to put a card on file and then it took my money automatically. Now paying overdrafts fees making my expense even more. I will not be using u-haul again.

Fuel level was below half and was marked half when I picked up, returned with a full half tank, they still charged for fuel. Will never rent from this location again.

When I called to make the reservation the lady at the Sparkleberry location did not have a 26’ tk. She found one on two notch. While I was looking also I found a price that was lower. She wrote in the comments to honor the lower price. Agent at Two Notch was new and could not find the note aledgely. I contacted Sparkleberry the lady found the comments. When the tk was returned the drop off found the comments and honored the first price

A worker walked me to the van that I was going to be using and as soon as he opened the door a horrible odor hit us in the face. He half cleaned it out and I went on my way. Went back 2 hours later to drop it off and a different worker tried to tell me that I was going to have to pay a large amount for the van to get cleaned. I told the man that I wasn’t and explained what happened earlier that morning to him. The manager ended up speaking with me and explained that whoever had the van the night before left shrimp under the mat and that’s why it smelled so bad. I ended up receiving a discount, but I still wasn’t completely satisfied with the business there. I won’t be going back to that Uhaul location.

She gave me a estimate for overnight charge cause not available for 24 hr truck. It was just 1 day charge. I did my best to keep the return time (7;00 morning) I asked to correct amount cause they charged me for 2 days. but owner was so rude and make uncomfortable. I didn’t argue with him cause I was totally exhausted overnight moving.

General manager, Emile Jones, was rude, abusive, threatening, and took actions that were in contradiction to Uhaul stated policy - demanding more than one deposit and placing 2 holds on my account. Mr. Jones left voicemail messages threatening police contact and filing a theft report against me. Mr. Jones was contacted by customer service representatives on more than once occasion requesting her release the 2nd hold in order the allow the processing of payment on my account. Mr. Jones refused to listen to reason, practice common sense, and follow Uhaul policy.

The attendant I had was a newbie. He made any number of small errors that had to be corrected as I was collecting my truck. The chief of these was to leave the fuel indicator on the contract as "full" even though he and I both noted when I drove the truck off that it only had 1/2 a tank of fuel.
