I had all but given up on U-Haul after picking up the truck in Port St Lucie the truck smells of urine not only that they didn't give a military discount on Veterans Day. dropping the truck off I spoke with two of the nicest women I personally encountered Erica and Ashley. Not only was the store inviting ,but the way they spoke with me made me feel as though I was family more so than a customer, they knew exactly what they were doing they were so helpful. If there were more locations that had employees that treated their customers and their equipment as well as they used to take care of their location there would never be any issue with people renting from U-Haul I normally wouldn't take the time to write a review but I felt like this occasion warranted 1 with the size of the location that they are employed at it's amazing that they were able to handle my situation as well as multiple other customers simultaneously it was truly impressive if only the employees at the location that I picked the truck up from could see how this location is it may have more clientele from this point on if I ever need a U-Haul or any services that U-Haul provides I'll only go to this location

Office staff was incredibly rude. The girl at the desk kept staring and talking to my daughter even after I told her I was renting and would be paying and signing, not my daughter. She was monotone and rude the entire time I was in there. The trucks were parked around the corner and up on a curb. There were 3 or 4 trucks parked there, but she just said "Its down there with the key in it". My daughter had to go back around the block to clarify which truck it was and to have it brought down off of the embankment and over the curb on to the road. She then had to wait about 15 minutes before the employee acknowledged her presence in the office. At that time another employee went down and drove the truck down off the embankment and over the curb. The 2nd employee was pleasant and much more professional. When we returned the truck we had to search for the "LOCK BOX" that the first employee said to return the key if if we were after 7. It isn't a " box "at all, but a hole in the front door. I don't think she likes her job very much, she was very unpleasant/rude. In the future I will go to ANY OTHER location, even if it is not convenient, rather than return to this U-Haul location. I was very surprised at her behavior and the treatment we received.

My reservation was originally for the Greenlawn location. when we arrived, they did not have the pads or a dolly which had been ordered 2-3 weeks prior to the scheduled move. I don't understand why you would reserve and the location not be prepared for your arrival and then want to send you across town to pick up pads and dolly when you are paying movers on the clock. We ended up going to the Forest Drive location for everything and they were great. I am not happy with U-Haul. Moving day is stressful enough without having to deal with issues that you thought had been taken care of... I called corporate and they said it was probably because someone else did not return the equipment. That shouldn't be my problem.. They had a reservation for me and knew I was coming in so they should have done the leg work instead of me having to pay movers to sit around and wait on a truck, dolly and pads...

Alexdera was very nasty.. I usually rent from Decker on a weekly basis and I never had problem.. I got charged for a cleaning fee because it rained and it had some sand from transporting items in the uhaul.. I have never had a cleaning fee on my account before in all the years because of some sand..

THE TWO THINGS I WOULD CHANGE ABOUT THE LOCATION IS CUSTOMER SERVICE. WHEN I GOT THERE IT WAS A SIGN ON THE DOOR THAT SAID CALL THIS NUMBER FOR FOE HELP. AND THEN WHEN SHE ARRIVED SO WAS NOT WELCOMNG. JUST WOULD LIKE THE STAFF TO BE MORE FRIENDLY.

The self check in was useless as the keys to the truck.i was suppose to have were no where to be found. The employee had to.completely cancel that reservation and rebook me for a truck that actually had keys. How do you lose the keys to a truck that is reserved? Makes no sense, also the employee was in no way professional. Would have expected more for such a well known company name.

Unfortunately, my initial reservation was for the Uhaul company located at 125 Decker Park Rd where I was told my fuse box was defective and needed to be repaired. The service representative appeared to be in training or had never dealt with this issue so the advise was coming from someone in a different location. Because I wasn't confident in the advice, not was I willing to pay $85 and did not have 3-5 business days to wait, I asked my husband to stop by the facility and test the trailer on his truck. The service representatives surprise the trailer didn't work on his truck either after adamantly expressing it wasn't the trailer. So I asked for a different and was referred to a location where I could only use the trailer for a few hours...my reservation reflected an out of town drop off. So we were finally referred to the Forest Dr. facility, where the total of the reservation and what was reflected on the screen for me to pay did not add it. After inquiring about the price difference the General Manager, became annoyed and short tempered to the point of practically tossing my ticket at me. I asked if she was ok, in order to be friendly but she wasn't having it. The younger gentlemen, at the Forrest Dr. facility and pleasant as he hooked up the trailer, and here the trailer was actually operationally.
