They showed a cargo van in stock. I get there, the young lady said she could not find the key. She sent me out there anyway hoping they were in the vehicle. THEY WERE NOT and I went back up to the office; she called the mgr and she said, "oh that vehicle is down for maintenance..!!" Not good because it should NOT have been in stock then. Anyway, after 30 min, I finally got a truck (which was better). The young lady was nice and professional and I told her it was not her fault, it was a mgmnt issue. I would rent here again.
I did the pre check in on line but it still took 40 min to get the truck when I arrived. The truck should have already been brought up and ready for me but I had to walk to the parking area and locate the right truck myself.
Pick-up location was changed from Garners Ferry to Forest Drive without any notification by text or email. So we had to backtrack to the new location. Forest Drive location printer was not working and contract had to be emailed to me. Tank was nearly empty (warning light came on after driving 10 miles), although latest reading on contract indicated 1/4 tank of gas present. Worst experience in dealing with Uhaul for over 20 years. Would be nice to go back to having gas tank topped off before returning.
Cleanest Uhaul location I've EVER been in. Pickup truck was clean and drove fine.
Don't charge a mileage fee.

Make sure website/app is accurate with equipment location. This was actually the third location I was sent to due to misinformation online. This pushed my day 1 hr behind schedule. Employee at 2339 Two Notch Road, Columbia, SC, needs to make sure they are taking time to convey accurate information.
The customer service person was very rude and nasty. She was the only person working. When I came back the doors was locked and after 15 minutes of waiting a different person arrived. People were leaving. Bad experience.
My Uhaul experience in SC was a nightmare, and I do not say that lightly. I was on a very tight schedule and had scheduled my uhaul to be picked up at 10am at LifeStorage on Garner's Ferry Road. I called at 8am to schedule the vehicle inspection, as instructed on the website, and they told me to just show up at 10 and they'd do it there. When I arrived at 10, the man at the desk told me the Uhaul woman wasn't there and just gave me a phone number to call! I was rerouted to the Fort Jackson location, which was right in the middle of town instead of right across the street from my house, as the Garner's Ferry location was. I specifically choose Garner's Ferry to limit the amount of in-town driving because I was very nervous about driving the uhaul and towing my car. When I arrived at the Garner's Ferry location, there was absolutely no parking and a line of people waiting for the door to be opened. I finally received my equipment, an hour later than I had scheduled, and the woman working there informed me the person who helps explain the towing wasn't there so I would need to just watch a video! When I tried to load my honda civic, which was approved as compatible during online check in and visually inspected by the woman working at Uhaul, the towing trailer scratched the underside of my car and it get stuck. I was unable to tow my car and instead had to call Uhaul (and wait 20 min on hold) to switch the car listed for towing to my mother's car. All of these horrible inconveniences on Uhaul's part delayed my trip 2.5 hours, meaning I had to drive to my destination over very long and windy bridges in the dark! I cannot emphasize enough how terrible my experience was and how stressful dealing with Uhaul made my move.

The manager was terrible. I had no walk around. No intro to the vehicle. Just walk down there and get it. She didn't care. Had no respect or compassion for her customer.
No place to park my car at this location. We're told to park in another business parking lot even though this uhaul site did not have permission To do so. When trying to get in touch with the person I rented from, I was unable to do so. Always got sent to headquarters and was on hold for at least half hour trying to get a question answered. Poor customer service. A check engine light came on and we had to decide whether to check the truck back in or drive it back to the U-Haul center we rented from. These problems caused me much more time out of my moving day and cost me more as was paying movers to help me. Very disappointing and costly!
Extremely quick and easy pick up and drop off service. Also, as a nurse during these difficult times of Covid, I appreciated they're compliance to city guidelines of wearing a mask and remaining 6 ft apart.
The interior of the location seemed very cluttered
When I reserved this truck I selected a pickup location that was only a mile from my apartment. When I received the the email with the actual pickup location it was this place that was 10 miles away. Since you charge by the mile this move cost me $25 more in moving expenses because you changed the location. Totally unsatisfactory. I was NOT happy. David Stabenaw
Check in process was long and difficult. There was a staff member there and he seemed uninterested in his job. Instead of offering to check us in, he sat and played on his phone while I waited 20 minutes to get approved and checked in. Very unimpressed.
Everyone was helpful but I reserved a dolly and it was not included (and I was not informed so I didn't realize until getting home). The location then did not have one available and I was forced to do the move without it.
Parking and the street location is cramped.
Returned truck back to the location on time . received a email today stating that i owe extra money. The location was closed and I placed the key in the drop box/ door slot. Camera needs to be looked at for my correct return time. This will get resolved in the morning. Need this office 350 east blackstock road to review their cameras and fix this problem m
The absolute worst experience. I went to 4 locations attempting to return the truck. Stores would not accept more returns, stores without offices, stores without marked entrances. Terrible terrible terrible
