The equipment was dirty and not maintained. Customer service could also use improvement, by providing better communication to the customers. The two other customers that I saw were unsure of what to do next and appeared uneasy after their transaction with Malav.

Deceptively tried to include insurance in the price quote. I asked if the insurance was mandatory and was told no. I declined the insurance coverage. When more closely inspecting my bill I discovered that I had been charged for insurance. The following day I appeared at the office to request a refund. At first, the manager claimed that I had gotten the insurance. I reminded him of our conversation, and he reluctantly agreed that I had declined the insurance. The manager refused to credit me for the overcharge claiming I had damaged furniture pads. Dishonest, cheat.

As far as the uhaul corporation, if you are going to demand that the customer check himself in or get charged $20, you need to make the link to check back in available to the customer at any time. In my case, I was almost home when I got the link and wasted 30 minutes driving back to take pictures.

We were told they were open by Uhaul customer service that they were open until 3:30. We arrived at 2:30 and they were closed. We had to spend time with the Uhaul/Share to return it.

Man claimed I would not be charged for blanket count, but I still received a bill. Pickup location failed to ensure count & drop location thus charged extra. Not happy with either location.

There were NUMEROUS issues from day 1. I needed a trailer big enough to accommodate 2 motorcycles. I call the 800# approximately 1 month before I needed the trailer and specifically made this requirement known to the agent over the phone. I was reassured several times over the phone that it was in fact large enough for 2 motorcycles and I was provided a conformation #, date and pick up location. I called 48hrs before the reservation date and was told by the U-Haul agent that not only was the trailer not large enough for 2 motorcycles, but that it would now be even more money. Why? This was U-Haul's error, not mine. I then receive a new email confirmation, but it is now a totally different address. I now have to call U-Haul back and the representative states..."I'm not sure which location, you may have to call them both". Again, why? Why is this my responsibility? 9nce I arrive at the correct location, the station attendant has a sign on the door saying he is in the bathroom due to a stomach virus and will be back in 30min. Gross! I, along with some other random customer must wait for him to return and we are both delayed over 30min each. I then go to get everything situated and discover the cable attachment on my vehicle isn't functioning properly with the cable attachment on the trailer. I then bring my vehicle across the street and discover it is in fact the trailer attachment that is faulty, NOT my vehicle. The diagnostic test costs me $205. For the 3rd time, why? Why am I paying for a faulty malfunction on U-Haul equipment? I am then charged by the stomach virus attendant almost $65 more than the price I was quoted...which was already $40 more than my original quote from a month ago. If I didn't need the trailer right then and there I would have told them to go pound sand. All in all, I ended up spending over $435 on something that shouldn't have cost me more than $100. I will NEVER rent from U-Haul again, ever. I would strongly recommend going with one of their competitors.

Have used this location twice in the last month. Both trucks were clean and ran well. The online/app check in takes a few minutes but works. Same for return - takes a while with all of the photos but it works too!
