It’s a small gas station in a bad area - where the employees are behin thick bullet-proof plastic. The employee was stumped at how to rent me the truck I reserved. He finally gave me a truck with the check engine light on and told me “don’t worry about it.” The employee also had no idea how to use the tow dolly. Plus, they STILL charged me for a utility dolly and moving blankets - despite the fact they didn’t have any. So, they owe me money. Also, there was no connection for the lights on the tow dolly. They have no business being an authorized UHaul rental facility.

I stood at the counter for 45 minutes while the person ran back and forth ringing up other customers. After waiting and my husband asking him to please finish assisting us so we can go on our way the employee tells us AFTER 1 hour that he can’t figure out the computer and to call the 1800 number and reserve it over the phone then come back to see him. After 1 hour and 20 minutes we finally got the tow dolly. VERY FUSTRATING!

Ii ended up needing the truck longer. This location will not allow you to turn in the vehicle to another location...i was moving to another city. It made this horrendous. I have used Uhaul for years and have never experienced anything like this

This location has only one person working the counter and had me to wait several minutes as he was doing something else, he didn't even help me hook up the trailer I rented. I feel bad if a woman would've come to rent something.

Suggestion is not really for Uhual but for the gas station that provides the service. It would be helpful to have a 2nd person in the booth. One for uhual customers and the other for other customers.

The gentleman that owns this place is a crook he canceled my reservation that I made thru express check out even though I spoke with him several times to let him know I was on my way he told me it was policy for him to guarantee 100 miles driven when I disputed that he thru my I’d at me and threatened not to rent to me

I received the truck 3 hours late. When I came back with the loaded truck to pick up the car trolley, they offered absolutely no help. I had previously been told that the U-Haul location will hook up the trolley to the truck, but when I came to pick up the trolley, they said that they don't help with that and I'm on my own. I didn't have a second person to help me because I didn't know I needed one, so I had to improvise. The trolley was positioned awkwardly and was blocked by other equipment, which I had to move myself. Because the trolley was so awkwardly placed, I had to drag it slightly using the safety chains so that I could even connect it. I have never connected a trolley myself, so I had to pay a random stranger $50 to help me connect the trolley to the truck and then to load my car onto the trolley. So, I went from planning to get the truck at 10 am to getting it at 2 pm and then needing to waste another 2.5 hrs to figure out how to attach the trolley and load my car onto it, so I ended up leaving town for a long drive at 9 pm! The experience was absolutely horrible. And at the end when I finally got to my final destination, the U-haul rep at the Natick, MA location (Arthur) told me that the chains had been incorrectly installed and the emergency brake would not have worked if there had been an issue.

Due to a language barrier between the vendor and myself, the truck rental was wrong. Also, I had to talk thru a heavy Plexiglas window standing outside where there was a lot of traffic noise. As for the rental, I was only going to use it locally and the rental receipt showed it going from MD to OH. I did not catch that until later that day. The following day I returned it to the New Market, MD location and could not get the return location issue resolved as the UH computer system was down. finally on Monday, Cheryl Murphy, manager of the Frederick, MD location was able to assist me in getting the rental revised to show that the rental was for a local haul and not long distance haul to Dayton, OH. I am waiting for the credit to appear on my Visa Card and as of today, it has not been posted.

It took over 30 minutes to get the paperwork down when I picked the truck up and I am still here after 30 minutes dropping the truck off. They have 1 person working the Uhaul businesss and the gas station who does not know what he is doing.

The location grounds where very uneven with potholes and muddy. All transactions done outside in the cold. The clerk was not familiar with the procedure of preparing receipts. When reserving and returning it took a long time due to the clerk would take the people coming to purchase gas and other items. (never apologize or aknowledge he that he knows his customer is standing out in the snow!) This Uhaul company isn’t on of my favs and have no plans to return.

Double charged me. Rep never checked the truck back in so I got charged for a lost truck. Will never use uhaul again and will be sure to not allow anyone i know use Uhaul as well. Youve lost a loyal customer.

The computers were not working at the location I rented from and they had to call the main office and I had to provide my credit card information for the 3rd time in order to get my receipt. That was very uncomfortable and I am concerned that my information had to be provided so many times

It took in excess of 30 mins to get the vehicle because their computer system was down. It took so long she even tried to open the app from her phone.They only had 1 attendant so she asked me to go take pictures of the mileage and fuel gauge. Same problems when I returned the truck. I wont go there again!
