Very unprofessional! I show up and wait inside building for 5 minutes until someone finally comes to wait on me. Not a big deal. I requested a 20' trunk but was given a monster 26' that I didn't need or want. I thought it was large, but assumed it was 20' as requested. When I leave I am told to bring it back with 3/4 of a tank, so I made sure that is what it had upon return. I get there and a man is in the office with two young children and he proceeds to have a 8 year old boy go inspect the trunk with me. They ask where is the dolly and I told them it wasn't there when I picked it up, I didn't need it and didn't even think about it. The man upon finding this did everything but call me a thief until after multiple calls and checking inventory found I was correct. The little boy says there wasn't enough gas in the truck even though I put gas in two blocks away. I showed the man the receipt and he states that trunk is much bigger and only gets 6 mpg so I owe $15 for 3 more gallons of gas. Had his children not been there I would have told him to get off his lazy ass and go check himself. I decided to bite my tongue for the sake of his children and just paid the extra $15. Please beware of this place and I have used U-Haul many times in the past, but never again at this location. They are crooks!

Horable experience. No reason for me to ever use U-Haul ever again. Too many good options to use a sub-par company. Web site did not rent truck at location I expected. Took me 1 1/2 hours to find correct location. Redding road location gave us wrong address. Dore in a part of town I would NEVER drive to. Truck had broken parts in cab. Driver side. Sun visor was was missing. Budget is much less expensive with much better equipment.

I reserved a 10-ft truck a week in advance. I received an automated e-mail with a pick up location (4001 Hauck Rd). When I got to said location, it was a BP with two 26 foot Uhaul's and no one there to turn over the keys or anything. Guy working behind the counter at the BP got me on the phone with someone who told me there were no 10 foot trucks available and that I needed to go to a DIFFERENT address about 8 miles away. Why did they send me to that location in the first place? Did they think I would just take a 26 foot truck in lieu of a 10 foot truck not being available? There was no way I was going to drive a 26 foot truck all day. This was very frustrating. The BP location seemed very out of the ordinary. I did not feel comfortable picking up a truck (and leaving my car) at a gas station that had no visible affiliation with UHaul and no one there to greet me with keys or anything. the location I was rerouted to (7990 Reading Rd) had my ten foot truck that the guy on the phone said was unavailable, and had Uhaul signs out front reassuring me that I was in fact in the right place. The man inside was not the same guy I spoke with over the phone, but he sensed my frustration and was very helpful and understanding of the situation.

staff member who assisted me was not very friendly. When I called back to inquire about extending the rental again staff was again not the most pleasant and did not explain clearly. This was very frustrating and ultimately I ended up spending way more than anticipated. This is the second location I've used and had less than desirable outcomes. I'll be in need of a moving truck again in a few months and do not see myself using u-haul.

The below avg rating relates to the cluttered office. I am also very disappointed that your agent couldn't find a closer location with the vehicle I needed. Especially when in route, I passed a location 6 miles closer to my home that had 3 pickup trucks on their property, before and after I returned my rental.

The location is a bit sketchy. The attendant was great though. He was patient and handled the paperwork of the reservation fine. The uhaul was pretty disgusting/dirty. The contract stated that the fuel was 3/8 full which was more like 1/8 full when we got going. The first place we had to go to was a gas station. A bit disappointing. Also, uhaul the "company" switched locations without any discussion/notification causing me to be significantly late to work.

It was pouring rain, and there were a few foot prints on the inside of the truck. They made me either mop it myself or pay $25. This is the first time this ever happened to me and this location was rather unprofessional.

tell customers to check the inside of whatever your renting to make sure the inside is clean before leaving we only took pics of the outside and because I didnt have pictures of the inside showing it had dirt in it they wanted to charge twenty five to sweep it out a kid was there and did it for ten so not to bad

Facility looked like a used furniture store. U-Haul was just a secondary business, per appearance. Nevertheless, functioned well as U-Haul return point. Manager gave friendly advise about where to refill fuel .

I was happy with this location but very unhappy with Uhaul. They change my location and didn't notify me. I had to call after arriving at the closed location that took my reservation . Second time in two weeks Uhaul has let me down.
