Truck I rented died on me while I was driving. Luckily i was able to force steering wheel to turn to side of the road and it turned back on. I asked for a dolly and didn’t receive one in the truck. Everything else was fine.

Horrible location! Truck was listed having a quarter tank of gas. Sadly I have a photo showing it was even less. I rented at 8am to get on the road. First thing I have to stop for gas because it was so low. The truck ran HORRIBLE and only got about 7-8 mpg. This costs me EXTRA money! I plan on posting on social media for thousands of people to see how horrible you lr service is. Likewise, I am sending a letter of complaint to the Massachusetts DOT inspectors asking them to stop all these Arizona registered vehicles and perform safety checks. UHAUL did me NO favors with your horrible vehicles, poor customer service, and negative management! Your “take the truck with whatever gas is in it and return it with the same” is HORRIBLE customer service. Let me take it full and return it the same way. If people can’t abide by that charge them $6 gallon (which in most areas a $3+ Dollar a gallon mark-up to cover a technicians time to fill it. Make it a minimum of 2 gallons so you make $6+ dollars for 10 mins work topping off a truck! Thank goodness Penske and Ryder are also located in the general area as options!

The gentlemen who picked up the truck for us was very rude and unprofessional. Yes he was busy and I understand that due to the kind of work I do, but there was no need for his rude attitude and I wont be going back to this location. We explained that the damage on the side of the truck was already there and was noticed after we picked up the truck. We did have insurance on it anyways, but he did not want to hear it and was very rude and short and did not care with what we had to say. There was also a small leaf pile that was already there when we picked up the truck. He was going to charge us a 25$ fee, and we explained to him that that small leaf pile was already there and that we were not provided a broom or even a dolly and we should not have to pay that fee. He ended up not charging us. He ended up being nice towards the end. Overall he was not presentable, approachable, and very unprofessional. We will not be going back there again.

had a problem after hours called manager cell # no response at all i found the 800 n# and they took car of everything !!!! i will never rent from u haul again !!! I rented twice within 3mo . that's over a !000.00 in busines !!! I had problems both time no more !!!! I'ed rather pay more thane deal with chicopee location !!!!! and the manager so called never even called back joke !!!!!!!!!

I have been trying to get a hold of them for acouple days about the storage unit that didn't exist and nobody knows what's going on and nobody has called me back in 3days ,I even left a message for the president of the company.the storage unit they said i was confirmed at was a food mart and they didnt give me a phone number ,I drove around for any hour and the place gave me doesn't exist at that address.and should of received clearer information when I purchased the uhaul that the price I was quoted changed when I went to pick up my trailer almost $200.00.i was also told on the phone they will except the only storage unit I found for a free month but nobody will confirm that for me.everytime I call I get someone else who can't figure out what's going on, it's very frustrating.

I get excellent service when i rent from your chicopee store! As for boston rd uhaul in spfld, is a different story, the manager Paul is rude to all the customers! Hes very disrespectful and use racist comments! Paul needs to be retrained on how to deal with customers when he doesnt feel like being at work

When my husband and I set up the day and time for the UHaul rental the female customer service advisor was great, the day of picking up the truck my husband had a very rude and not so pleasant gentleman who he dealt with along with a condescending remark that was made, honestly probably will use another UHaul in another town as this one in Chicopee was less than a stellar experience and was not very courteous staff the day of pick up...sorry for the vent but just being honest, I would not recommend using this UHaul for your rental needs

FYI: not all people in the universe are now "ON-LINE" and my wife and I are 2 of those who are not. We do not own a computer, nor do we have e-mail accounts. Making that a requirement of our renting from you was inconvenient, upsetting and made us feel like children when we had to ask our daughter if we could use her e-mail information - OR HAVE HER COME IN AND RENT FOR US !?!?! - so we could finalize the deal. Yes, we are older, completely reliable, with EXCELLENT credit and insurance and yet you felt the need to lose our future business because we don't use e-mail ? Re-assess your priorities U-Haul.
