High charges wasn't worth it
The Lady at the service was on a call (on her mobile) the whole time. I told her that I checked in online, thought that would be easier for her. But she told it would be easier if I could answer the questions in a very rude manner. I was upset and asked her to hang the phone and continue the check in, then she told "It does not matter as far as I am being served". Worst U-hall experience ever, I never had such experience with U-hall service before. I would not visit this place ever again.
Up until my most recent U-Haul rental from this location I have never had any issues. However, this time there was an issue with the return of my deposit and it is still not resolved a week and a half later. This is not by any fault of your company I waited until I thought enough time had passed for it to have been returned and after seeing that it still has not been posted back into my account I am taking action to resolve this matter now.

I had booked my Truck under $50 reservation guarantee, but on last day they said truck is not available to drop and i need to return it back to same Location. This is not a way you treat customers, if we take one way mean we can't come back otherwise why would we select this option.
Arbitrary charge for gas. 4 gallon for 3 miles? You must be kidding me.

The van statement said it was full and it was not. I filled up a tank that for 3 gallons that I did not use. Also my storage unit had mouse feces in it and on my things.
Please have a better way to reach the actual location by phone. While using the vehicle, I misplaced my cellphone. I called the number for the store in Chicago where I rented (using a different phone of course) to ask if I had left my phone there, but the number I dialed reached a corporate office in Utah. I spoke with Charles who was super helpful but unfortunately there was no way for him to contact the rental location in Chicago to ask if my cellphone was there. In retracing my steps I did find my missing phone, but it would have been helpful to reach someone at the store location, to ask that one quick question, when dialing the number listed as the store location phone number. Aside from that, my experience was 5-star.
I was asked to pick up a vehicle next to the fire hydrant and I was asked to park it back atbthe same spot again. Isn't it illegal to park next to a fire hydrant? Please follow rules!
The employee that helped me was one of the most rude angry employees I've dealt with in my life. I asked a legitimate question at one point and her response was, "I thought you knew everything, if you don't do what I say, I'm going back inside and you can figure this out yourself"

Online Reservation was made for pick up in country club hills, no one contacted me to let me know there wasn't a truck available. I had to call U-Haul several times to finally find one available. Shouldn't let online reservations go through if trucks not available.

I dropped off the auto transport earlier in the day and Andrew was unfriendly and seemed annoyed to assist us. He said he would send a receipt to my email which I never received. I return at 4:45pm same day to drop off the truck and the door is locked. The store closes at 5pm. Myself and another customer knocked on the door until Andrew reluctantly opened the door. He took my key and again said he would send a receipt to my email. I did not receive a checkin email for the truck and auto transport until the next day. Very unprofessional, especially to lock the door well before closing time.
The inside console and steering wheel could have been wiped down with disinfectant wipes and cleaner. Otherwise everything else was good.

Reserving the truck was useless. Still spent 20 minutes in-store trying to get my reservation. I was also charged a $30 fee cause you guys failed to charge my card on file, and later, auto charged it with a late-fee. Ridiculous. Waste of time. Not professional.
