Back of truck was not clean. Location was out of furniture pads which I had pre-ordered. Truck had terrible vibrations and noise traveling down the road.

This location, Pak Rat, is great! They were very helpful. However, my U-Haul truck rental experience was awful. I booked a 10’ truck three weeks before pick up online at the closest point to my house. Two days before pick up, I was told by corporate they didn’t have my 10’ truck and needed to send me to another location to pick up a 15’ truck. When I arrived to pick up the 15’, the second location did not have my truck and they had to locate another truck for me. The only one available was a 20’ truck a little further away. I agreed as long as my original booking price would be honored for the 10’ truck. We got to the third pick up location and noticed my reservation had increased the price $200. The lady at Pak Rat was very helpful! I showed her my original confirmation reservation with price and she did her best to make it right. While she was on hold with corporate trying to get it to work because the system wouldn’t allow her to honor my reservation price, she figured out how to do it on her own. In the end, it took us an hour to eventually get a truck.
DEREK PWhen I tell you U-Haul came THROUGH for me. I was unable to move into my new rental and had traveled from a different state. I needed to come back to my original state, but didn’t know the best option. Paul gave me 100 miles to get back to Chattanooga. I had to turn the Uhaul in the next day and get a storage. I felt heard and seen during a very unfortunate moment. The staff at Pat Rack in Chattanooga, Hixson U-Haul and Storage Chatt,Deloraha and Paul in customer service will be the reason I continue to use U-Haul. The employees at Pak Rat were a whole vibe and I felt like family the moment I walked. Beautiful beautiful people.
