Nothing.. The ladies at the Charlotte location on Ashley rd. Were so helpful and caring.. When i tried to get ahold of u-haul to let them know about that i had returned my truck on Sunday, when i was supposed to, the site was down.. I called the assistant manager and left her a message with my problem..
It would be nice when you send a receipt electronically the person should be able to see it. Nothing ever came thru on my electronic receipts
The back tires on the Uhaul may need to be checked the truck kept sliding to the side from the back seat..
Hire better staff. Sharon Mathews was horrible. After she rung me up she didn't tell me to follow her out. She got up and walked out the door. She then back the truck up in the dark and walked off. I guess I was supposed to inspect a truck in the dark, didn't realize I had night vision. Overall just rude.
Lester did an awesome job. He even made sure that the tv boxes were restocked by the next day. He was personable and professional. He asked the right questions and made thoughtful suggestions to meet my moving needs.
No one helped me find my unit. I was told to â€œgo to the back of the buildingâ€ and I would find my unit. After much exploring, I found the unit and when I opened the door, the alarm went off. Still, no one came to help. My father went to reach one of the employees who told us to enter the access code and which was denied. Haven't had issues with renting a truck, but will not rent a unit again or recommend it to anyone.
Using the mobile app makes the in-store time minimal.

Uhaul should really consider including some free mileage in a rental. It was depressive that my mileage was more than the cost of my rental and i only went 30 miles and had the truck for only 2 hrs.

The trailer apparently leaked - I was moving a sofa from Charlotte to Richmond on a rainy day and when I arrived in Richmond and moved the sofa out of the trailer, it had huge wet spots in the middle of the seating ares.

My initial truck was cancelled and no one could tell me why. Very frustrating. But that has nothing to do with this location. Was happy with their service.
Did not receive dollies or furniture pads with the rental originally. Had to make an additional trip to the pickup location to retrieve the dolleys, did not pick up the blankets I was supposed to have during that time.
UHaul needs a better way to guarantee equipment for customers. I had a vehicle tow dolly reserved that was reserved well in advance but was unavailable simply because the customer who had it was unable to return it on time. I don't fault the pickup location because they can't do anything about this, but U-Haul as a company needs to find a solution. It caused a significant issue for our move and this has happened multiple times in the past with U-Haul. There has to be a better way to ensure equipment is available. Not everyone has the luxury of flexible moving schedules, especially when moving to another state. In the future we will not use U-Haul if we can help it because the last 3 times we have used the company there has been major equipment issues that have left us in a bad situation. Your site offers the ability to schedule moving help for the date of the move, yet you frequently miss dates on the equipment that is needed. At that point the moving help can't do their job and has to cancel and then the customer is scrambling to find last minute helpers of which the trustworthy companies are almost never available at such short notice and the whole plan for the move falls apart.
