The location in South Carolina had a did not care attitude. They were short with answers to my questions and again it was like if you do not like go somewhere else.DOLORES B.
Office staff is not very friendly. Outside staff are generally quite helpful and friendly. Truck was somewhat clean but the console has spills that should be cleaner for a fairly new truck.KURT K.

I would not recommend haul to anyone until you get your company policy in line. I reserved two weeks ahead of time at a location 5 minutes from my house. The day of pickup, I had to drive 40 minutes away to pick up the truck because in all of Charleston, the was only one location that had a 10 ft truck. That is ridiculous, either honor your reservations or get more equipment. I paid for a hand truck, there was none, which made the move extremely difficult. It's no way to run a business.MICHAEL K.
I only needed the trailer for one day. It would be nice if you could get a discount for early returns or be able to choose the number of days instead of paying for 3 when I only needed one.Scott B.

I arrived on time for rental. I was told they did not have a trailer that was in working condition. The only one available did not have a jack (completely broken off). A good trailer was in the lot when I came in and they rented it to another group that just walked in. SO, they had a trailer and let someone else rent it. I had a wrecked vehicle towed to the UHaul and insurance would not move it to another Uhaul. The staff told me I would just have to drive around and find one. We finally decided to go ahead and take the trailer (We did not have much a choice with a disabled vehicle. Then they told me I would have to drive the trailer back across Greenville SC after I unloaded the vehicle (which was going to be stored at a UHaul rental business). I understand the two guys were only doing what they were told. The Manager needs to be fired and the UHaul needs to be retrained.taunya M.

The staff at this location has no customer service what so ever. No communication skills the cashier seem like she had a bad day or either she does not like her job. The worker outside when I came back to bring the vehicle was rude. Very disrespectful I will never come back there and will tell everyone of my experience. The employees are great however their computer systems and behind the counter tools are broken down and do not work making it hard for them to their job and causing multiple delays for the customers. You need to upgrade and give the employees what they need to provide great service.Adam R.

Girl at desk was heavily tattooed, eating sunflower seeds and either spitting the shells into a cup or picking the shells out of her mouth with her fingers and throwing them into the cup. She then handled my credit card with her saliva covered fingers. She made an error on her POS terminal and said â€œshit, dammitâ€. She did not welcome me or thank me. She seemed very unhappy with her job at U-Haul. Her nose ring was disgusting. When I get to the truck I just rented, she had texted me the wrong truck number, so I could not inspect the vehicle properly before driving it away. A helpful male employee on the outside lot helped me to get the correct number texted to me so I then was able to inspect the truck. Truck had over 100,000 miles. Drivers sun visor was dangling and I had to completely remove it and lay it on the floor. Girl inside not good, guy outside good, truck okay, but not real good.James H.
