The employees at the physical store were professional and very helpful, the booking agent that is third-party that we had to go through made several mistakes in booking my trailer, it was double booked, and the trailer went to someone else and there was not another one there. This put me several hours behind and missed a family function because of it!! The gentleman that helped me at the physical store, went beyond what a normal customer service tends to go, he was very helpful and worked very hard to set matter straight for a mistake that he didn’t make so I am appreciative of him .

Your call center said that we could not drop a trailer after hours. The location does take trailers and drop off 24 hours. We had to rent a hotel and stay in Carson to return the trailer in the morning. That is a horrible experience and the worst thing to have your call center be that ignorant of the policy.

Line was very long. Was charged extra day and over mileage on truck (Reservation: 22709987) as a result of being sent to Reno to pick up auto transport I had been confirmed at this location plus extra fuel to get to Reno.

My complaint is with an employee named Gerardo who works at the 1498 E William st in Carson City, NV. He was very rude to my wife when she forgot her drives license. When she returned with her license, Gerardo treated her like a criminal. My wife was in tears when she returned home with the truck. AND a day later when I went in to pick up a second reservation, he (Gerardo) was as rude to me. He has an attitude problem which should prevent him from working with the public. He is not a friendly person and if I need to rent from you guys again, I’ll make sure to go in n his day off to avoid dealing with his unprofessional attitude.

I had ordered two 26 foot truck and uhaul only had one ready and that one needs to be put to pastor interior was destroyed seats are very uncomfortable and you didn’t run good overall bad truck needs to be destroyed

This move started with U-Haul making a significant change in my pickup location. I talked to Lisa Carson city customer service center and she was able to turn around my dissatisfaction with the changes. She was completely professional and beyond helpful. When I went to the Carson location I was eventually helped by Alex Hussein who was far from professional. It started with his attitude on “needing to call and verify who I was with someone on the phone” minding he never even asked my permission if it was ok. He then during the rental lied to me about fuel levels, accused me of planning on stealing the truck and lying to him about the rate Lisa had given me. Near the end of the encounter in the store the General Manager/ Owner Steven Moyer came in and made the encounter much worse. He allowed the lies told by Alex, told me if I didn’t shut up he would cancel my order and have the police escort me off the property, also called me a lier about the rate that Lisa had given me and was generally intimidating and unpleasant. The only positive in the whole in store time was the assistant store manager. I unfortunately did not get her name, she told me she is pregnant. She was a shinning star of customer service, she also witnessed the entire in store encounter. She made me think that U-Haul did not as a company treat people such as Steven and Alex treaded me. She showed me that she had listened to my concerns and that as I though were easily solveable all the while helping another very difficult encounter. She took care of all my concerns with a simple note on the contract that she had almost no involvement in, she got my genuine thanks, she should be the owner/general manager. U-Haul would be wise to give her more responsibility. U-Haul would be wise to look closely at Steven Moyer and decide if he has the ability to train to and follow U-Haul standards.

Perhaps the person who rented this truck wasn’t mechanically savvy or maybe they just didn’t mention it. But the right front brake was locking up and the truck darted hard to the right every time I hit the brakes. I considered it to be a serious safety hazard. I mentioned it to the intake person at the drop off location.

I rented an enclosed trailer to move a mattress and coverlet. The trailer leaked and the coverlet has a big nasty spot. The first thing the clerk who checked us in asked was, “did the trailer leak?” I advised it did and that the coverlet was possibly ruined. I asked who we should talk to about it. He said someone would contact me. Well I haven’t heard from anyone. I’m very disappointed.

She was going on about how the mouse on another computer just "stopped" working, but when the system canceled an earlier reservation of mine, it had to be my error

I was cheated. I reserved a 20 foot truck and you gave me a 15 foot truck. It cost me a lot of money, not only the more than an hour wait for a truck I had not reserved because the truck I reserved was not available, but because it was a smaller truck, it took two trips instead of one and I was paying three men to move me and it was four hours extra for their time because of the smaller truck. The driver was told there would be a discount, and there was none. The smaller truck cost me more than the larger truck. How does that happen. I have filed a complaint with the credit card and will take you to small claims court if necessary. I never asked for any "safe move" insurance on the first truck, but you added it to the cost of the smaller truck and never even reduced the cost of the truck for size. And how does a one day rental add up to $100 plus. You cheated me. I have told the bank you cheated me. And when the truck was turned in the crew that was there could not make any adjustments at all for what happened. It was lousy. The whole experience was lousy. You cheated me. Denny Lacy
