The equipment was not clean. The girl who helped me was very friendly and helpful, but the location overall is poorly maintained. The asphalt is old and breaking, the building smells weird and uhaul still has not started doing loyalty points for people like me to earn rewards for renting so much equipment.Jason S.

your associate connected the safety chain from the tow dolly to my axle backwards and I could not get the chain to release at my drop off point ... where I wanted to drop off the tow dolly had no idea how ti get the chain off ... so they sent me like 22 miles to a U-Haul main dealer who did manage to get the chain off ... they gave me 45 miles in credit but that just covered the miles going both ways to the dealer and then back to the original storage location ... so basically I had to cover at least 20 dollars in gas money and ended up having to go the extra 30 miles back to main dealer cause that's where my car was parked after he got the chain of. This cost me over 2 hours of time. and 20 bucks in gas and 20 miles at 40 cents = 8.00 ... I figure you guys owe me 28 bucks and 2 hours of my life backMitchel L.
After driving cross country with a U-Haul truck and car trailer I tried to drop off the car trailer 2 days early and was told I could drop off the car and leave it in the open lot but not the trailer. Was told If I wanted help in dropping off the car I'd have to pay extra for the help. Had to call U-Haul main number to rectify this issue. U-Haul was surprised at the attitude of this male General Manager. Went back the next day and was able to drop off the car trailer with no issues. When I dropped off the truck 2 days later, the rest of the staff was very helpful and pleasant.Richard M.

The uhaul I reserved in advance wasn't where I requested it. I had to drive 30 minutes out of my way to pick it up and then drop it off 30 minutes out of my way. I didn't get a dolly with my truck. Tried calling to drop it off same day, spent 30 minutes plus on hold then call dropped. Finally went online and the app wouldn't share my location even though it was set up on my phone. The place in Carson people were professional and nice, but wasn't impressed with uhaul in general. Fortunately We don't move to often!JOSHUA CHARLES M.
I dropped off the equipment the day after renting it and it wasn't checked in properly causing two employees to call me and ask when I was returning the equipment and if I had returned it to the correct place or not when in fact I returned it earlier then the contract stated. I asked the first person to call me back with an update which they didn't do it and that caused the second person to call and go through the same line of questioning when communication could have happened between them and the proper check-in of the equipment could have prevented it all. My time is valuable and to be called into question as to if I returned equipment or not is poor customer service and to be put on hold while someone figures out their job is frustrating and cost me $. Will a U-Haul representative try and make it right with me or at least apologize? I highly doubt it even though it's the customer service thing to do.Edward A.

I would recommend that they go into the location itself and rent a truck. The 800 number people don't care at all. I actually had a truck reserved for Saturday confirmed and everything. And yet there was no truck. They wanted me to look 30 miles away to get one and drive it to my city. I am very pissed that Uhaul would not accommodate a customer!James G.

Wow...CC location is amazing. They were friendly, helpful and even engaged with me regarding previous negative questions regarding my horrible uhaul experiences. Honestly, I will always use uHaul even when I have continuously been treated crappy by the South Reno location. It's important to call out exemplary customer service, it's so rare.
