Burning smell and squealing from brakes. Difficult to stop after long downhill stretch. Check-in guy seemed genuinely interested. Was acosted (sticking hands and arms in my car) by slim ball day laborers on uhaul lot. I rolled up the window to protect myself. Clerk said ok for these guys to be on sidewalk but they weren't. Won't be using this uhaul location again. Very disturbing to be potentially overwhelmed by creeps like this. Price was fair.

Very upset that I was charged a $7.65 fuel charge. I filled the truck to exactly what it was when I checked it out. Next time I'm going with enterprise. It is a lie that the truck came back with only a quarter of a tank. It was above the line exactly as I picked it up.

Truck air conditioning did not work. After truck was loaded - would not start. Had to get roadside assistance and get battery and air conditioning fixed. Spent over half a day waiting for repairs.

Check in took about an hour. Something about 2 lost keys. Only one guy working the counter. At check out, the guy seemed dismissive. Made me feel like I was bothering him. We like the manager there. He's a cool guy. Too bad he was off. Normally, this is our go to place because we love their customer service. Hopefully, they correct this issues. If this happens again, we'd look for a different go to provider.

Customer service needs lots of improvement I was passed off from one guy to another.for different pieces of equipment. I was set up for two different locations for turning in equipment. Which was neither convenient or helpful ..added additional charges to the original estimate not much help for all the money that I paid. One picking up trailer made it very difficult to hook up people outside or not much Help.

When I checked the fuel gauge, it didn't match up to what was on paper so I notified the guy checking me out. He circled the correct fuel table and initialed it and said to bring it back to what it is currently so I did. Next day I get charged $36 for fuel. Called to inform them and the call center said I will get a call back sometime today. Never came. Still waiting.

Yes I pulled into the lot waited 25 minutes before I walked around front to have somebody unhook the trailer they were too busy Jack and yakking at for another 5 minutes so I said I left you a trailer I was going to clean it out but I can't get any service here you guys might as well find something to do with it this is the third trailer for trailer I've rented this month to be the last trailer I rent from you people Thomas Wright 661 877-3777 I figured my time is worth something if I wait 25 minutes you guys can take 5 minutes to sweep out a couple of things in the trailer is that that's not true you're never going to keep customers loyal to you

The employees at the U-Haul on Canyon Country are well-trained very polite and extremely helpful and when the trailer again right now so I've read lots of trailers trucks also but they are very good

My 1 star rating doesn't go to the location. They took well care of me. My rating goes to my over all experience with the scheduling team. They called me 2 days before pick up and told me they needed to change my pick up location to a store 30 min away. Less than 24 hours before pick up they changed my pick up time from 830a to 445p. I called numerous times and they would say "let me check with the current customer and I will call you back" but would never call back so I would have to keep calling. The day of my reservation I called at 7am to see if they had an update and I spoke to the rudest person ever. I asked what can I do to get a truck earlier? Different size? Different location? What are my options? She stated the ONLY thing avail. In all surrounding areas was a cargo van. That it's the last Saturday and they are busy. And that I would need to continue to call back to see if someone returns a truck sooner. I hang up the phone and immediately get on uhaul.com to book a 20ft truck at the same location I'm dropping off at and the pick up time was 12:45p. I called back and asked to speak with a manager and told her everything that happened and she continued to make excuses for the rep but never once apologized to me for being lied to nor the experience I had. I will never rent from uhaul again due to this experience.
