The trailer I rented was ancient. When I dropped it off the guys in NH were laughing it was so old. The door lock mechanism did not work well. I ordered 2 dozen blankets. When I went to pick them up they only had 6. The guy said a "a walk in came in the night before and he got all the blankets." So much for a reservation.

The truck had feces smeared in the back. The poop had been cleaned out but the stain remained as well as the worst odor I have ever encountered. Was gagging trying to load boxes. Not only that but It made my possessions also smell like rancid feces after they were unloaded.

Yes the guy there charged me a fee but told me what I could do to get reimbursed. I told him I was given the truck like this but I guess he can't just go off my word who would think that uhaul would give out a truck like this to anybody so I get it but I shouldn't have to suffer. I do feel like we couldve got on the phone with a supervisor or some higher up to resolve this shit problem. This is absurd.

I reserved a one way rental and when I showed up (one hour early) to pick up there were only local trucks available. The gentleman who helped me was very nice and profession was was not able to get me the right vehicle. The local truck I ended up having to take was filthy, rear view mirrors were both broken and was a trrrible truck to drive. I ended up having to pay 2x what was quoted to me due to mileage. I will never use or recommend u-haul again, ever. The gentleman at W Farms Rd was very nice, I do not blame him at all - I blame the terrible system and reservation process that confirmed I would get the truck I requested and then did not deliver

I was charged for a dolly that I never even got!! When I got to my destination to begin packing my furniture I saw there was no dolly inside the van and so I called the facility and spoke with the rep there. He told me he had tried calling me about it but I had absolutely no phone calls from him. He then assured me that I wouldn't be charged for it. However I still was!

My girlfriend and I were in a bind, in need of a van when our movers fell through. The gentleman who helped us when we arrived (whose name I sadly can't recall) was phenomenal, he managed to get us a van even though we had slipped through the system and were unexpected. It made an immense difference for us today and we're very thankful he helped us.

Vehicle was not ready at reservation time. Was sent to 2 different uhual locations across the city, both of which didn't have the vehicle available as customer svc had told me and directed me. Original vehicle at original location finally available 5 hours late, costing me to move out late and lose my apartment's security deposit.

I was moving furniture from Copiague New York to Taylor Avenue in the Bronx off of Tremont Ave. when I initially made this reservation I gave my destination address to the U-Haul representative they advised me that I would be dropping off the reservation in Yonkers I inquired initially if my destination is East Tremont Avenue in the Bronx why am I dropping the truck off all the way in Yonkers. I was advised that when I arrived at my destination in the Bronx that I should seek the nearest U-Haul in the area and that I would be able to drop the truck off at that location and I did just that. first I was given a location that did not exist on Tremont Avenue 1865 Tremont Avenue is not a U-Haul Depot. I called back and was advised that there was a U-Haul 24-hour drop-off on West Farms and that I should take the vehicle to that location and I did just that only to arrive and have the nice young man tell me that they were going to charge me $30 as a wrong location fee for dropping the vehicle off at West farms to my dismay. I do not feel that it is fair that I am charged a $30 drop off fee when I called multiple times and inquired about dropping off the vehicle at a location that was less than 1 mile from my destination as opposed to 10 miles out of my way to Yonkers. I feel that this was an attempt to collect an additional $30 on a rate that was initially discounted to me I think that it is unfair and I am lodging a formal complaint against U-Haul customer service at 1 800 go U-Haul who advised me to identify a local U-Haul near my destination in the Bronx and to drop off the vehicle. I did as advised and I'm being penalized for it so my overall review of U-Haul I was able to pick the truck up in Deer Park New York very nice location it was close to where my initial location was but dropping off the vehicle at a llocation in Yonkers 10 miles outside of my destination I thought was ridiculous from the start I questioned it from the start was advised to find a location local and I did that but I'm paying for it. I think it's unfair and I would appreciate getting a call back from a supervisor so that they're able to credit my account for the additional $30 that I was charged for dropping the truck off less than a mile from my destination as opposed to taking it 10 miles out of my way and yes I am extremely pissed

I rented a truck from 5:30pm to 9:30pm and the person (Keith Owdziej) that took my reservation said that the time I brought it back wouldn't matter what mattered was the miles on the truck. I received a call at around 12am from William Brown Jr. telling that I needed to bring the truck back and pay an extra $38.82 when I got there. I spoke to someone from customer service who told me uhual doesnt charge by the hour is it based on the miles on the car. I was charged $70 for my original rental and an extra $38.82 that I have no idea where it came from. If Uhaul does charge by the hours that is something customers should be told. I have used uhaul in the past and this has never happened to me. I will never use this location again. Mr. Brown is so rude and wasnt helpful at all.
