The truck that was given to me was dirty and smelled of smoke, but it was a last minute pick-up. Miguel at the Bruckner Blvd location was amazing! However, I picked this truck up last minute because my ORIGINAL pick up was at 383 Grand Concourse at 2pm. HOWEVER, someone by the name of Daniel Lawler changed my reservation and sent me an email without having any conversation or receiving a confirmation from me to change my reservation. My original reservation # was 23429081. However, this Daniel Lawler changed my reservation and gave me a new one #1847890. When i arrived to the pickup location at 383 Grand Concourse they told me my reservation was for SUNDAY AT 6pm. Which was incorrect. I told them it was for Saturday at 2pm and showed them my confirmation. The MANAGER at that location was VERY NASTY and told me they gave away my truck and walked away. He never checked to see about getting me another truck, never searched for another location so I had to call the 1-800 number and was on hold for over 20 mins. They found me another truck (at the Bruckner Blvd location) but by the time I got to my storage unit it was CLOSED- because of this clear error and lack of customer service and professionalism at 383 Grand Concourse, I now have to fight a $187 storage bill with Public Storage on Brush Avenue in the Bronx, because they're trying to charge me for a full month even though i was out July 1. U Haul should take responsibility for the $187 I will have to now pay. Had this Daniel Lawler person not changed my reservation 7 MINUTES before my pick up, had the MANAGER AT 383 GRAND CONCOURSE not been so nasty and unprofessional, I would've had my truck and retrieved my items out of storage BEFORE the end of the day. i will take this complaints as far up as it needs to go because someone needs to at best reimburse me for my truck rental so I can add that to this storage payment.

It was a little dark and scary so I need to get more lighting would’ve been nice. Also a few problems I have is I was told there would be no mileage when I made a path to U-Haul if I get a one-way rental. Then I was charge for mileage as well as some other fees I don’t understand. I asked to be contacted about it but then that has not happened

Nit enough employees available on a Friday afternoon. Waited for almost and hour on line. And also I believe I was over charged. I went on line and requested 10 hour with the truck. Then when I got the bill it read that I rented the truck for 3 hours. That meant that i paid for more then one day. Not happy.

I was previously supposed to pick up a truck from your west farms location, and it took me hours because the staff there did not know all the information for me to be able to rent a truck until I finally went to this one in bruckner and the guy inside helped a lot with what I needed and did what the other guy in the westfarms location could not.

The morning staff screwed up my order from start to finish except for one employee who was outside taking what appeared to be inventory of the trucks. He was helpful and so was the employee who helped me check out my truck at the end of the day. In the morning, they didn't have my truck ready with the materials I ordered online previously. In fact, they didn't even realize I was there with a previously made online order and when I arrived attempting to perform my self checkout using the app, one of the shoddy morning employees told me there was no way I could do that and I could only do it in person using him and the rest of the incompetent staff on duty this morning Saturday June 9th, 2018. Finally when I got my truck, the battery was dead and I had to waste even more time to be helped and given a whole signing a whole new set of documents and going through the process all over again. Any chance I get I will be warning people about this terrible experience with this particular uhaul center which wasted my time.

I was made to come to this location after I was screwed over, dragged to the other location because you guys let people think you had cars available everywhere. Last time I'm using Uhaul for sure, if the experience wasn't bad enough, your customer service made the experience even worse. Definitely the last time I'm using Uhaul.

Hi. I had 2 different reservations. The first one called me while I was on my way to pick up the car telling me that they didnt have the truck at the location and I would have to Deliver the truck the next day at 7am (when I needed it for 24 hours). He canceled my reservation then I had to book another truck/ the next day I went to get it and they didnt have a truck and I had to go to a location 10 miles away. Is there anything you can do? Ryan

The service was very good. But I would like to see a help road map which allows the renter knowledge of how to get around when using Uhaul because I had to travel to Brooklyn and was going to travel through Manhattan because I did not knowhow to get to my destination without getting on the Jackie Robinson pkwy. This would be helpful I think to other renter especially women.

I had scheduled my pick up for 7pm. When I got there the rep. Said we don't have customer parking. It took me almost an hour to find parking and then I had to walk back to your location. So that made me late and had to rush, which is not cool.
